to the guys running these size of tires, but only in 16's..how do you like it? I just have an sxt...so will i suffer power loss from the wider tire? just curious..im spinning my 205's in tight high speed corners..i dont want that

i actually dont much like em..they grip alright, but they are noisy in the corners..not noisy like you dont have confidence in them, they just squeal too much for me...i need a wider tire though..i can still break traction at 50-55 in a corner...i need something that just grips harder

so are you saying that I personally, would be better off with r/t struts over the SRT ones? im going to change mine, but im not going aftermarket for them.

If you want that front gap gone, DO NOT go with the srt springs..you wont see any difference...great springs if you want a sleeper with some performance, but not for what you want.

I like the idea of getting the srt parts because they are CHEAP, but you get a HUGE ride improvement..the car looks stock and the mustang owner,vette owner(that cant drive well) will be wondering why they cant shake you through the corners(straights are a different story) who says you need to be sla...

as it is right now, im still spinning at 50 when cornering hard...i have the srt springs and 205s on it..but it still spins..im five seconds faster through this set of corners that i do..just from the spring upgrades... if i do sways, strut bars and the stainless brake lines/better pads..i could pro...

i didnt want a drop..just added performance.

finally put my springs on..cant tell its lowered..(i knew i wouldnt be able to) but the handling is waaay different..it took away so much body roll..im taking my normal corners 5-10 mph faster..and this is with confidence and i still dont know this suspension yet..im anxious to really test it. besides the srt4 having different springs,struts,sway bars what makes it handle better than a stock neon? is the steering rack geared tighter? I know it would be faster because it can power out of corners, but for pure handling what else is better about the 4..

just put the hankook ventus hr2's on my stock 5 spokes(04 neon) i put 205/50/15..dont look bad either..they actually have less bulge than the cheap 185/65 i had on to begin with...Definately need to lower the car now.. Dont know how they handle yet..had the kids with me so i wasnt able to push it..t...

just picked up a 93 civic ex 4 door...ill let you guys know how it fairs against the neon..doesnt feel as strong as the neon, but the neon is torqey....ill try and get a video of it.

does anyone have pictures of there stock 04-05 sxt rims with 205 width tires on them? ive read that you can run that size, but im just curious how much bulge there would be..i have the stock 185's and ive maxed out there cornering ability..ive started to slide ...
