Up for sale is my 2000 Dodge Neon Highline. It has been very well cared for. Car has 110K miles on it. The timing belt, water pump, serpentine belts, and headgasket were changed at 103k miles. I just went back to that listing and looked, it says the tails are for a 00-02.........hmmmmmmm.

These....and they are even tinted, but they are off an 04, so they won't fit mine or I would probably buy them.

There is also something not taken into account. A Neon has been primarily a first car for most drivers. And as we know, first time drivers aren't the best :roll: SRTs don't help the matter. The Shelby Omni's (GLHS & GLH) were incredable sleepers!!

They handle very well, and with a 2.2 turbo with 146 hp (GLH) or 175 hp (GLHS) they were quite fast!! I know that doesn't sound like a lot of hp, but in such a small and light car.......well, you can figure it out.

Yeah, I broke one too. It was cheap taiwan crap though. I went and bought a good one and sprayed the nut/threads real good on the other (3) struts with PB Blaster Penetrating Spray before I broke them loose.

A nice trick for getting the top hat off the strut is to put a 3" long 1/4" extension thru a 13/16" spark plug socket. Once the extension is thru the spark plug socket, put the 10mm socket on the extension. Then you can hold the 10mm nut of the top of the strut and put an adjustable wrench on the sp...
