113 bucks!? Wow, that's so cheap! I sometimes forget how damned affordable these cars are. That'll look great on the car when all is said and done

I modded the cluster. I also supplied the clear HVAC inserts and new bulbs for the HVAC  Not a fan at all really. The red is too hard on the eyes, IMHO. Technically red is easier on the eyes over a period of time versus blue. Not to be a total nerd or nitpicker, but because of the way our e...

I don't sand down the area with the ODO. Someone sent me a cluster that had that tint sanded down and it didn't look very good. I may try and play with that to see what I get

No red turn signals?? I read your how to, and there is a way to make the red odometer visble during the day. If you sand the black tint off of the area and place cellophane over the odo display it is perfectly visble even with the sun glaring on it. I found that the cellophane wasn't the best mater...

I will gently try the hammer trick. It was working fine when I was out at the car in the morning. Then I parked at a store and came back out about 15 minutes later... suddenly the lock would no longer turn. Not cold enough for it to be frozen... specially after the graphite. Given it won't turn... ...

I figured that is probably the big issue with mine. There's no way those reflectors can do a very good job with such a rough texture :( I think I may pull them and re-surface them this winter. I need to do demon eyes for both my headlights and fogs this winter anyways, so I may as well make the fogs...

Crystal, are your reflectors smooth? Mine looked like they were sand cast then chromed without any further finishing. I've considered pulling, smoothing, then having them re-chromed, but that's a lot of work.

Epoxy can crack though. I would still prefer to use metal plates. Bending will not be an issue in this application in my experience. That being said, it's far easier to fabricate plastic parts over metal.

^^^ Um, there's no motor in it, so it's sort of a moot point regarding whether or not it's an SRT (which it was).
