I was also thinking about this for a while, they say on the site you really don't even need a muffler because of the turbo placement, think about it, nice long tube header, 2 1/2" pipe straight back * under the tranny hump* turbo mounted just before the rear axle, over the axle bend in the exhaust, ...

becareful with cranking the line pressure up to much, or sh!t starts breaking. ie shifts will be alot firmer, but will wear stock clutches out much faster, not only that but when you experience shift "over lap" both clutches are engaged (1-2, 2-3) upshifts so imagine if you crank up the line pressur...

Well it seems really simple then, We can use our 2.0/2.4 L engine with an adapter plate mounted to the transaxle "input", carefully graft in the porsche rear suspension/trans axle, lengthen or shorten the "drive shaft" as needed. and whammy RWD Neon. I ...

most definitly, porsche would be a good choice, with the opposed 4, the 8 from a vette would be a bit more work, not to mention a shit load more expensive. I wonder how much of a difference there is from a LH trans to a transaxle........ must do some research on this.....

added power in the wrong hands can be deadly to them selves and others around them, sometimes the worst things happen with the best intentions. Think about it, if you find a blown 4cyl dakota 5spd, you could use the pedals, trans driveshaft, cut to fit of course. If the rear is a 5-lug 8 1/4" it will make thing easier, ...
