Wired up a new controlbox last time http://www.dodgeowners.de/Neon/diverse/Consul/6528.jpg http://www.dodgeowners.de/Neon/diverse/Consul/6530.jpg and finally finished (so far) today. Looks pretty cool, I think I have to take a picture from the road when the neon is lifted up over the fence next time...

ok - here are the pictures as promised http://www.dodgeowners.de/Neon/Taililight/6568.jpg http://www.dodgeowners.de/Neon/Taililight/6569.jpg For all who are interested to install a socket at the top chamber... not really much space to drill a big hole there. To get a hole right in the middle of it, ...

ah - ok, nice lamp :D If you maybe do not know - just install the Bux-MFS, add a double wire in pin12 on the MFS-plug (it delivers the power for the rear foglight and the controllamp automatically) route one end to the rear lamp which you like to be foglight and the other to pin1 on the cluster-plug...

Here in germany I had to install a rear foglight. Further I have these taillights laying around. Bought them ´cause I thought the same as you do - use the additonal chambers for something else. But that isn´t that easy as you have to deal with the mountings in that area you like to use. So you don´t...

After all these neons I think it is time to get to a new project - retaurating a lifter. I got one for cheap, but unfortunatelly laying in the dirt for years and with a lot of missing parts. It´s from 1977 and for 2.500 kg. I had to derust and paint it, build a strong basement, make a place where I ...

as far as you could be sure, you get the right foglights for your model year -you will be fine.

How-To: Powerlock Servo/ Actuator repair (not finished)
youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G2teqFEfks&feature=youtu.be As the powerlock-servos seem to fail one day - we decided to open one up and see what´s inside. Though I replaced two years ago such a thing with one which seemed to have been open before, http://www.dodgeowners.de/Neon/ZV_Motor/1...

Easiest and cheapest thing might be to try 1st is a LED-bulb at the socket of the frontlights turnlight. See if there is any effect - eg. that LED blinks asynchronous, too or not.
If there is no effect, maybe try a bulb at the mirrors end of the wire instead of the LED and then parallel with the LED.

imho it shouldn´t depend on the position you used for inserting the wire. When I soldered the wires for my fender-side-turnlights nearly at the same position, it is working well (with standard bulbs, no LED). So maybe more what occasional demons said, but otherwise I think the LED´s won´t work at al...

Have the control arms been swapped or the bushings refurbished recently ? The brakes, cv-axles ? Maybe try to get over the next hill fast enough and shift into Neutral-Position before. If the noise still comes in "N" it might not be the trany. If the LCAs have been done before, try to retorque the s...

4-speed to 3-speed swap
Either I have not found it or there really is no thread about that... Today I met a guy with a bad transmission on his recently bought 2001 bux neon over here. This neon should have a 4-speed ATX on, but somebody swapped it to a 3-speed time ago I noticed. So he was very astonished when I told him t...

If you remember my LE, the orange vinyl and black roof I did myself for trying it, originally she´s silver. I was trying to apply the vinyl either dry and other parts with a mixture of cleaner and water. It depends on the parts you actually try to do. So a bumper is a lot more difficult and IMHO sho...

RT vs LE Bolts
Got a set of RT alloys but am wondering if the bolts on the RT (2001) originally are longer than on a LE (2000) ?
On my LE they are about 2,5 cm (1 inch) - I thought the bolts were looking longer on the RT where we removed the wheels before.
