Good question  About 2002 I had another old car with much kms on and chanced to hear someone offered a 99 2nd gen. First I don´t thought about buying her, but it has been really a very good price he wanted and after I made a testdrive I bought her. `Cause every car I had since now was a rare mo...

A few months ago I dealed with a defective ps-pump and was searching for a used one. I think the most used whole pumps you can get will have pulleys with at least little scratches and cracks. Therefore I would recommend to get only a new pulley, except your pump has too much miles on. ... and don´t ...

Yes, right. Might not be the pump, but I think, it depends on where the puddle is under the parked car. So probably somewhere at the steering itself (any seal...). Thought to start with the parts which can simply be excluded as you can plainly touch them - even with the high-pressure related parts. ...

And you have no idea where it leaks ? Have you seen my how-to for pump removal ? http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=52948 It might not be too hard to make sure, the seal high-pressure hose to pump is fine. Another buddy overhere had recently problems with a leaking PS and at the end it has been so...

I am close to get a pair of ABS-axles. The seperate ring I meant is for example this here: http://cgi.ebay.de/ABS-RING-CHRYSLER-NEON-PL-AB-5-1994-8-1999-VORNE-/170571762918?pt=Autoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r&hash=item27b6de8ce6 Actually I have no ABS-wiring, but are collecting the needed parts if I find them...

Great - figured out today that the knuckles on my non-ABS-SXT have the screwholes for the sensor http://www.dodgeowners.de/Neon/SXT/2671.jpg http://www.dodgeowners.de/Neon/SXT/2672.jpg And the transaxles (4-speed-ATX) look like they were ready to take an ABS-Ring, but where may I get those single ri...

So it might be on the reborn SRT :) If I think about what parts are needed for the mod, is this all or have I forgotten something ? Rear Disc Brake swap Sensors front and rear wiring to the sensors wiring harness for ABS-Pump and ACM wiring to the cluster/ controll lamp brakelines and hoses for rear...

Another point we thought about is, do all Neons (maybe except the SRTs) who have ABS on board, also have the traction-control ? So what will happen, if you make a ABS-Neon with traction an SRT, will the traction-control get lost (by swapping only the PCM, not the ACM) ? If not, this could be an opti...

My 2000 has it and I like the ABS, more I like the tracking-function especially as it is snowing a lot here at the moment. On snowy, iced and wet surfaces it is helpful I think. But nethertheless the ABS can´t really compensate the drivers faults. A lot more I wish to have a ESP-function, but this w...
