Interesting, maybe I should try to see next time.
Haven't you got a code driving that way?
And no loss of performance?

sorry for digging out this pretty old thread, but because I´m stuck here in austria with my SXT which had ran just a bit more than 40.000 miles today, it threw a P0340 to me when we wanted to go back home after holiday ended today. As far as I read here, it should be usual to NGC and so maybe the ti...

How-To: windscreen removal

Unfortunatelly I had a crack in my SXTs windscreen. But hey, a good chance to try that work myself, esp. as I had a used one laying around. Btw. the used is with sunstripe. Always better to do that work with help. If I had to do this work again, I think I will buy a compressed air powered cartridge ...

violett/yellow = PCI-bus

means:" Don´t touch this"

******

black = ground

means:" use it"

******
darkgreen = possibly FUSED IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT (RUN)

means:" Measure it"

-> if there is 12V on this wire and only when you turned the key to RUN-Position, then use it.

PCI-bus is just the universal communication wire which is used for SKIM, ECU, TCM, cluster and so on.

So leave that wire as is and try the other both.

We could pick you up at Tegel airport and show you how it feels to go on the autobahn without limit

I drove the R/T yesterday "only" at 200 km/h for testing. I guess there will be a little more and not at least the SRTs will be a lot faster ...

How-To: powerwindow-motor swap

On the R/T the left powerwindow quit working properly. It had been working a while and only, when cold outside, never when warm, last time then nothing at all. It is not necessary to swap the whole assembly and it is a pita (I tried and quit as I ran out of time later). You had to remove the window ...
