Luckily the R/T passed the technical inspection today successfully, so I'm allowed to get it on the road soon.

Actually nothing as I haven't reinstalled it yet.
But it holds strong together though.
Maybe you should watch out for some glue.

Today I luckily was able to testdrive the R/T. Happy I had no issues. Hope and will see how it goes tomorrow. Btw. RHD feels way strange, esp. as I am used to shift with the right hand and switch the turnlights with the left. Here you have to do both with the left :tardbang: But nice - highly recomm...

Strange thing at all. Today I let the engine run a while and with swapped O2-sensor I got the same values. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kK_yfBfBcZI&feature=youtu.be After about 10 Minutes I tried again and they are pretty different https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYczFVhloZ4&feature=youtu.be I ma...

So I have to expect a P0420 soon maybe?

Then I probably should check the injectors for a leaking next -
how do you suggest to do that?
Just pull them all out and connect them to the fuelrail outside the intake to ser if one is leaking,
or might there be an easier way to try keeping them installed?

Sparks and plugs where looking fine.

I measured the resistance of the injectors recently and found all four about 13.4 when cold and 14.9 when warm.
But I haven't been taking them out to see if one leaks or something.

No idea - anyone? :-( I suspected the 2nd sensor at least after I compared the Voltage-values between the RT and the LE. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=wPjqnZ_NmJc My LE and a friends shows a lot less then 0.765 V when idling with warm engine. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=yout...

"fuse" is mostly caused by a defective dome bulb.
"door" usually defective door-switches.
Check all door-switches and the bulb itself.

I believe they will. Probably you have to do a little work on the wiring for the headlights as the 2004 have the turnlights inside, the 2000 not, but going this way you have to do some wiring anyways. For the turnlightthing you would need the 2000 bumper, hood is the same - no need for that. I would...

Don't know how they did on non-bux neons, but I'm sure on every bux, the wiring includes the indicator wire from factory. If you buy the Foglightskit they do not mention that this wire needs to get installed and I installed foglights several times. Btw. without frontfog MFS the gear/ actuator isn't ...

How-To: repair Magnumintake Motor

It seems that the Magnumintake Motors will die sometimes. They stuck and the "butterflys" won´t move anymore. Special thanks to eddie from our german forum who has gone through that short time before me. The reason for the defect is a chrome surface on the magnet which will come off sometimes. Then ...

P0172

On the RT I get a P0172 from time to time. I have to confess that I actually only let the engine run a while at idle sometimes as I am actually not allowed to drive on the road (you probably remember I got the RT recently and it is a RHD). Dan said he got the RT with that code and drove it a while t...

what about all grounds ? Esp. the two in front ?

If the door sensors were badly coroded, possibly the PCM connectors are as well ?
Only bad thing might be, that they brake easily when trying to disconnect them.

Here in germany I saw two neons with that "downgrade". I myself wouldn't like that, because here all 4-speed atx neons came with sideairbags, all 3-speed not. So they had to swap pcm and so on. TCM had to get out for sure. Airbags caused problems to them, as, I believe, they didn't realized that. So...

How-To: repair powerwindow switch

Usually, it seems, the powerwindow switches will brake sometimes. Probably it might mostly be a mechanical issue.
