underdrive pulley
I have never seen the one on ebay, but you might check this out. Go to modernperformance.com and look for the MPX pulley. It's less expensive, doesn't look as good, but they say it's very light which makes the rotating mass less heavy = more power. I have the unorthodox underdrive pulley from andysa...

OD i think I read on here somewhere the if the map sensor is dirty it can have affect idle quality, correct me if I am wrong. I wonder if he has inspected the throttle shaft and checked for wear. That would have some effect, but I don't think to the degree of this problem. I dunno, will leave this o...

Not sure if I would do that if you weren't able to duplicate the problem. Where to look next is a mystery to me. Have you tried changing the idle air motor? It's a lil pricey I hear, but I don't like just throwing parts at a car if I am not sure what's going on. You could get one from your local pic...

What n20stx said. As long as you buy a wet nitrous system and it's set up right, with a reasonable shot, they a safe for your car. A wide band would be extra insurance. I have not used it but Venom has a nitrous systom the is computerised and monitors the a/f ratio. If it gets too lean it shuts down...

OD what should we look for when inspecting the TPS connector and wiring, other than the obvious, worn wiring. I don't have an idle issue but under wot acceleration I have a stepping effect or surge. Like the injectors are sequentially adding fuel. I have had this since I bought the car and it's anno...

I understand what you are saying Frank and agree for the most part on what you are saying. However when you do this, you should be making an informed decision and be in agreement with your mechanic on the possible outcome. He or myself have not had any issues. If he tells me the part won't last I li...

I had my car in the shop once and asked them to check the engine alignment. The service manager and tech stood there like I was speaking in a foreign language. The tech asked me, How do you that? I know the rotary motors used to have seal problems on the engine case. What year the RX7 is IDK, but my vote will go with the GSX. My son had a 98 Talon that was awesome. He did a rebuild on it after hydro locking the motor
But that thing was quick. Just my 2cents.

I don't know about you, but my car is just that, my car! I won't let a mechanic dictate to me which brand of parts I use. My suggestion, find another shop that is more cooperative with your needs. Ask if they will let you watch them do the work. I know insurance regulations are tight, but there are ...

I had hawk hps pads and the dust was really bad. When they wore out I went to Advance Auto and picked up the Wearever silver pad. Not that much difference in grip and greatly reduced dust. Only time the wheels get dusty is if I get lazy and don't wash my car for like 2 weeks, lol.

Ya'll are talkig about the clutch being hydro, My 2000 is cable. SOOOOOOOO is my car a retard or sumthin? It is an early 2000 with a build date of 4-99
so this may have been before they went hydro. Question in my mind is, when did they change to the hydro setup?
