My '97 DD still has the battery that was in it when I bought the car in '04, and the guy told me then that it was 2yrs old. So...that's going on 7yrs - not bad, I guess.

My '01 Cherokee just got a new battery in April - it had the original Mopar in it

Which one my SRT or my bros invader? I sold my ACR i only have the black RT. Ya slight drop in rear front stayed same. The overall spring rate increased. It drives much more sporty. Less roll but not bouncy at all. Deff a good upgrade if you dont want lowering springs I want your Silver SRT hood......

As far as getting the broken bolts out, I wish I had something like a reverse Easy-Out. One that you drill a hole, then shove it in and turn it to the right instead of left. I've got a feeling that it would be easier to just take the broken bolts and drive them through the nut, then go in with a te...

I like my car loud. Screw anyone riding in it. I vote for stock aluminum wheels with high quality tires, Coilovers, removed resonator, K&N drop in filter, and do something about the muffler. (fart can maybe??) Fixed. :D The oem aluminum wheels are 6" width vs 5.5" for the steelies. (14") .5" may no...

Did you overfill the trans? I know from my experience with older cars, overfilling the trans can cause over pressure, and fluid would come out around the dipstick.

To get to 350hp, you'll need to go with a bigger turbo and supporting mods.

You'll get a more powerful motor, which includes the 2 stage IM, the factory shorty tube header (not a cast iron exhaust manifold), and the 3.94 final drive transmission. You will need to swap the underhood wire harness, as well. Heck, I'd take everything off the parts car to basically make your car...

Boomba BOV is a horrible design. My friend and I discovered for it to be a decent design it needs an o-ring at the bottom to seal boost which it doesn't. Leaks boost. We took it apart and realized this. Minez has an o-ring  If you like it thats all that matters. Hopefully you don't have it...

Front SRT4 stock springs are a slightly higher rate, so your front will look a bit "lifted". Rear will most likely look stock.

I'd do struts/springs, first. Then, after you're dropped, look into wheels. OR, after struts and springs are done for handling purposes, put some go under the hood with I/H/E. Then, after you have the power to back up the pending looks, put some tasteful wheels/tires on it. That would be/has been my...

UdP and a modular clutch with an aluminum flywheel will get you to 5k quicker, if that's what the OP is talking about...in addition to things that free up/make more power, as excon already stated.

Frank, I got my info from a FEMA engineer (not Gov. FEMA, but a real engineer). We even cut open several different brands of filters to see which ones had bypass valves, and which ones didn't. All the filters we cut open were intended for the 2.0 or 2.4 motors.

OhNo2.0 , think about what you just wrote..."The valve is not a BYPASS valve but more of a flow restrictor. (sic)" Why would they do anything to restrict the flow of oil?? The bypass valve is there for when Grandma forgets to get her oil and filter changed, and the element plugs up with dirt and co...
