i put a used sohc motor in this car. When i got the motor the timen belt was broke so put a new one on it,and idles fine reved up gd,but has very little power under load and smell a strong oil smell threw the intake tube,when i roll the motor over steam comes out the rasd inlet for coolant.????do u ...

u are right the green/orange wire does go to the injectors,coil and shut down,i stripped the green/orange wire and hooked a direct hot wire from battery to that green/orange wire that goes to those parts and i still didnt get any spark<all i need is the motor to run i dont need any interior stuff at...

is there anyway to check if the pcm is bad,cause that would make sense why i dont have power to the coil pack,injectors,cam sensor and everything else on the engine,i have power on the fuse bar.????

tried that,i dont seem to be getten powere to injectors,cam sensor and coil,i shouldnt have to turn the cam magnet to get spark should I?

i the sohc pcm and harness,and about the coil pack and the cam seonsor being switch? i had to pigtail the plug from the 2.4 to the 2.0 harness.I just matched up the wire>with the cam sensor wires being so short and the coil one being long i didnt think i could have messed them up,but maybe i could h...

2.4 in a 95 neon, have no power to cam sensor no spark, there fuel in the rail but injectors wont work,it will pop with staring fluid,i have heard alot bout cam magnets,i didnt change anything out of the 2.4 motor it is still stock,i am usen the 95 pcm, and sohc harness,i feel i have tried everythin...

does anyone know if i need to turn the magnet in the cams,i have a 95 harness and a 2.4 out of a 97 stratus? am not getten spark and the in jectors are not worken,does anyone have any ideas?thanks

i have a 95 singal plug neon,i put a 97 stratus motor in 2.4.I was just wondering what plugs i have to change around on pcm plug<is it the injector wire and coil wire?if so what are they thanks

does anyone know where i can get a dohc pcm for 94 or 95 neon,

i figured it would be,but u guys would know,now is there any plugs that i have to change,like the cam sensor plug,injector plug and crank plug<would i have to cut those off and put them on the 95 harness?

the harness that i want to put in it is out of a 1994 sohc automatic,and splice it in where i cut the one out of the 1995 standard?is the same thing as the 1995 standard harness,

i just ran out and looked,i have the injectors for the 97 stratus in now,do i have splice the injector plugs off the 2.4 harness and put them on the 2.0 harness,along with the cam pos plug,and will a automatic sohc 94 wiren harness that comes out of the firewall work in the 95?

so this swap is actually really easy i just seemed to have make it hard by trien to switch harnesses<after i got the harness on the engine and the one comen out of the firewall, what else am i going to need to change to make this actuaslly run like a 2.4?

so i am going to use the engine harness off the sohc motor? but it seems like i am going to have to change the injectors

i dont work on the chrysler stuff to much,so...the plug that is in the sohc neon 95, is a long narrow plug and i have noticed that the plug in the dohc are 2 plugs. i just figured that pcm out of the sohc would not perform to what the 2.4 would without the pcm from the 2.4

would the pcm out of the 95 work for the 97 2.4 out of the stratus?
