Ive got a local guy offering me a 2.4 turbo engine from a pt for 500$ with 70 000 km's (43 xxx miles) on it, and a rebuilt head. But the engine needs a new crankshaft as well as a new turbo. However he is also including an rt tranny as well as the wiring harnesses and computer. What do you guys thin...

Thanks for all the helpful responses guys. Figured out the problem. I topped off my baby with 2l of oil and the chimes stopped. Guess its time for an oil change and a new oil light bulb in my cluster...

Nope. Nothing comes up on the gauge cluster, no seatbelt light. Nothing. Thats why im so stumped. What in the car can cause a chime that doesnt show on the gauge cluster.

2.0 manifold with internal wastegate

Hey guys. I plan on using a turbo with an internal wastegate however the manifold I want to buy has a flange for an external wastegate. Do I need to get a turbo with an external wastegate or can I simply weld the opening shut. Thanks.

I just attached the remote wires to a rocker switch connected to 12v power. And I can't imagine what I might have hooked it up to that would cause this. I didn't mess around with any other wiring.
