Do you plan on keeping the car for awhile? Minimum to do would be take the bellhousing off, inspect the diff pin. Make sure it fits in the bore nicely and has 0 slop. Install retainers if they aren't present. Yours is from a 2005, so it'll likely have them in it. Pull off the steel cover on the back...

Well they are seperate forks, not sure if chrysler offers them seperately. We have them seperate but don't sell t-850 parts to people, just the T-350 parts.

Rebuilds usually run 1200-1500 for a t850 in good shape including parts and shipping.

Holy balls, $1800? Coulda had a complete rebuild from me for that. What snap ring did they use for the 3-4 synchro? Hopefully not the OEM one. There are 3 forks, one for 1-2, one for 3-4, one for 5-r. When you are downshifting to 3rd, the synchro has to move further (since it's locked onto 4th gear)...

Probably a bent 3-4 fork. It's common. They don't have to bend much. The thickness of the synchro fibride is .060". Having a fork bent only .040" would basically equate to the stop ring fibride being nearly completely worn.

How much they charge for all that work? Just curious.

Back before Grrrtrude had MS. I remember spending hours debating on where to mount it, only to put it in the glovebox. Then we went to Menard's to get the adapters to put the GM coolant sensor in your heater hose. Got that in, fuck it. Time to drink!

Like Andy? haha... "I see drunk, I need a cigarette!" Then he puts it out on my table. I never got one from him, but similar idea. They know you don't smoke but offer me one. Since I'm shitfaced, I take one or more. Then spend next 2 days trying to get the taste out of my mouth, wondering how the f...

I would raise hell over at that shop. I would be looking at some sort of compensation. I also would be pulling fluid out with a turkey baster and putting it an empty fluid bottle. That is messed up. Simple mistake, maybe next time provide a shop with the proper amount of trans fluid? Go in asking f...

^which is? I'm doin a 2.0 cus its different. And yes it can b done reliably. At 8 psi I'm gonna b as fast, most likely faster then a stock SRT All motor, it's a waste of time going with a 2.0. As for boosted, with how cheap you can build an SRT'd bottom end, I don't know why people go with the 2.0'...
