Droppin in from Montana!

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've checked in so I thought I'd say hi while I'm at it! Not much has happened to the car since I got it back. Been too busy to spend much time on it.. But I have changed up a few things! Some I'm not too proud of but I don't have much of a choice such as swappi...

Slow engine start troubleshooting.

So, just like my last neon, right about the same amount of miles (80k), I started getting a slower and slower start with a cold start. The crank speed sounds normal, but the car requires more cranks before the engine actually comes to life. Kind of like a: grr grr grr grr grr grr grr grr grr grr *en...

As far as I know, all srts have folding side mirrors. They are manual; you push them in with your hand.. There isn't any toggle switch that controls them with power or anything but I believe someone on the .org made a set of power mirrors. I think he said he finished them but I never saw any picture...

It's getting lowered soon and the stickers were put on by the previous
owner to hide a scratch. I just haven't cared to take them off yet.
And my headlights are a bit faded but that'll be taken care of when I
get my retrofitted headlights put in :)

Got the BOV installed this weekend! It wasn't too difficult, just took longer than it should have because I dropped a bolt into my engine bay and it felt into a pit of nonexistence.. I swapped out the surge valve with the hard pipe, put a cap on the PCM where the pink vacuum hose used to be, replace...

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm sure the shop will have extra screws if the store across the street doesn't have what I need for the block off plate. Blow Off Valve Installed - Now a boost leak?

So in celebration of getting my car back, I went ahead and bought a BOV! I ordered a Greddy Type S BOV which is "used" but looked to be in good condition. Normally I hate buying used but they don't make these any more and I have 14 days to return the product if they've sold me a false piece of equip...
