GO Megasquirt... complicated, yes, but best for the money and control, yes. Getting rid of NGC controlling everything is how to do it. As for everything else, no, I do not know :D Although, I know on the SRT4 the hotside runs under the car... maybe some peeps who have done it can post a pic o...

i have AC..... is the srt bottle smaller or what???? lol In my 02 ACR I could not use a SRT-4 bottle without modifying it. The canister thing for the AC was in the way. Nothing wrong with a plastic bottle, I have had one for 2+ years without any problems. Just to clarify myself, I have had one for ...

^ do you guys have a dent wizard or dent kings (people that remove dents) around your area i know the one around here is cheap something like 50 bucks Thats a good idea, I will try to find one for the doors. I'm worried about the spot over the rear wheel because its pretty thick there. I just don't...

i'm assuming the photos were taken at the scene, and if they were, you can tell from the reflections on the car that they're outside, denoting top level. but i may be wrong, he might have had to go outside for pics due to light. good luck finding a wide open top level on a garage at a university, a...

No, slots are slots; the ones pictured are directional , designed to shove the hot brake gases outward. He has them backwards, and they will retain the gases, which in time could contribute to warping, despite the crossdrilled holes. I have a set of non-diretional slotted rotors, on my Corrado, and...

Ok, alot of this stuff is individual to your setup (as far as how much timing to add). You need to listen for detonation and check your plugs after a few pulls at a constant settings. What I was trying to say before is you should have your AFRs tuned, while your timing is at a safe range, and when y...

If its running rich as poop then you should fix that problem before anything. If you can retard timing, retard it a good bit and tune the fuel first. You could be backfiring because its really rich, that happened to me when I first installed MS and didn't tune it yet. I know the AFX has advance timi...

Port fueler huh? Those are expensive, any reason using that over a return line? Not trying to bash, just curious. Because I have an 03. Return line would be a waste of time. Yeah, it's not cheap, but it is BY FAR the EASIEST and most efficient way to get reliable fuel control on my car. Plus, I wil...

Re: Ramblings about NGC and boost
AFAIK(still a n00b so dont come down on me too hard) the 00-02 cars are easier to boost by using an RRFPR and return line and calling it a day, whereas 03+ need to trick the pcm as well as doing the rrfpr, among other things. See, thats the biggest problem, 00-02s are not that much easier. The open...

:withstupid: If you're going to go to all the trouble of swapping crank trigger wheels and PCMs, you might as well just run MS. Cheaper, faster, and safer in the long run. And probably less of a pain in the ass than what you're talking about. And you can brag that you're running standalone :) Plus ...

if you use a stock srt wga and run it just off the wga you'll be at 7psi, not 4. yes but the pressure hose that goes to the WGA on stock srt's goto ana ctuator that is controlled by the ECU, if you directly hook up the WGA to the turbo the spring will open sooner than the stock srt setup why would ...

Vacuum caps crack and pop off after a while. Best bet is to run both lines off the compressor scroll into a T, then into possibly a boost controller then into the waste gate. Ive tried to block off one of the ports and it works ok, boost controller is more responsive when I have it T'd though. And ...
