So we're basically collectively undecided. I'm going to try this 42 psi for a while because the condition of the back tires is absolutely atrocious considering they're non-steering wheels and not out of alignment at all. On the lift you could clearly observe that the tires were out of round and you ...

Good News / Bad News

Well, the good news is I finally got my car in to get it re-aligned. Reason for this was that it was eating the outside edge of the front tires as well as pulling hard to the right. After chewing up a total of three (don't ask me how) front tires, I decided it was probably time to do something diffe...

If it's what I'm thinking if, I would describe it as the engine shuddering and yeah, when it runs at that low of RPMs you'll hear some junk clanking around. As long as it doesn't do it during normal driving.

It's fun to watch and think about the plausibility, but when you try and discuss it with people, the conversation usually ends up getting out of hand like it probably will here.

Mine's done it progressively worse ever since shortly after I got the car. Took it in today to get an estimate and I'm gonna need to shell out about $200 for two new front tires and an alignment. The tires are worn about half way around on each front tire. The passenger's side on the inside edge (so...

Even if I did see another modded neon, mine is damn near stock, so I'd lose an impromptu race regardless... unless it was an auto, maybe.

As it turns out, I'm always in my Neon, and most of the ones I come up on aren't racing me. I rarely see modded ones here in Northeastern Ohio.

This kind of reminds me of something I encountered on an old one-ton van my dad used to use for work. The wheels for it were actually splined. It used a big axle with long studs (probably for duals) and the wheel was actually splined onto the end of the axle. Wierd.

I think the body color bezels were a 'Sport Appearance Package' add on to the SXT package. Usually includes the fogs as well. Mine's an SXT and has the CF-look thing as well, no fogs.

I don't think it looks all that bad. Meh.

I was thinking of painting the centers of a set of 7-spokes like that, just a flat black, not body color. Mike had an idea like that before he was too cool for stock wheels.

Now I have even more inspiration to lower my car. I have the springs, I have the tools, but finding the time and money (for alignment) is tough.

Car looks bad-freaking-ass, dude. Awesome.
