This all reminds me, ever notice some of the older Eclipses and how thier mufflers are mounted at like.. a 45 degree angle? Compared to those, the angle doesn't look nearly as severe on your car, OB. For my own car, though, i'm thinking of simply replacing the muffler and maybe throwing a glasspack ...

As far as painting the calipers, definitely do it. I used some VHT hi-temp paint on my calipers on my T-bird and they're still bright red after more than 2 years.

Now watch as every business in the whole state gets a sign banning you from carrying your gun into thier store. It happened here in Ohio as soon as the concealed bill-thinger passed. As you may have guessed I don't keep up on gun laws too good.

To be 100% honest, I'm not sure on how close the match is - I'm still waiting for the vinyl to come in the mail. I have the matte black ones on mine and they look pretty nice with the scheme I have going. Let me know, or see a side by side (vinyl and Blaze Red paint) once you get it. I might consid...

Damn, that almost looks like you Photoshopped it onto there, straight up copy & paste. From the picture I can't see but it looks like it hangs below the edge of the bumper. As long as it doesn't smash and fold under the car, it should be in good shape.

Doing something wrong by using the defroster? Nah, I wouldn't worry about it. The little creaks and noises my car makes don't concern me too much (even at a mere 22,000 miles). You've always gotta remember, it is (was) the cheapest car Dodge offers. Can't expect the build quality to be stellar. I'm ...

I just got a pair of Silverstars at PepBoys for about $20 ($10 off coupon, $10 mail-in). Seem noticably brighter than the stockers, even in the rain, but I'm no expert. They don't have the irritating dull blue ricer look that cheaper bulbs give off. I'm hoping I didn't un-adjust my pass. side light ...

My car, since it's had 79 miles has had a whine sound that corresponds directly with the engine RPM. I figured it was some belt-driven accessory making noise. I know it's not the transmission, as it does it on free revving too. I have to assume it's normal being the car has done it since new.

I read that part of the manual. Supposedly downshifting when approaching a stop improves fuel economy and prolongs engine life. I'm not sure about the second part of that, except maybe that the engine is still pumping oil to all it's vital organs but there's no load on 'em. Oh well. Even in my '05 (...

Brake Pad Life Expectancy / Side-to-side shaking...

Ok, two-fer-one question here. First, after only 15k miles, it seems like either my rotors are warped or something is up with the pads. Upon slowing down I can feel a faint, rapid pulsation in the brake pedal. It's only evident when I'm slowing down from 45 or faster, not at low speeds, say, creepin...

I've noticed it too with my '05 even at 15k miles it does it when it's cold. After that it's just the normal rattly sound of the engine. I usually chalk all of these minor things up to it being a cheap car.
