In Canada, our gas stations offer various blends. I use Shell, and in their case, in 87 they use E10, in their 89 they use E5 and in 91 they use E0. I have tracked my mileage consistently fill up to fill up and I use the same station and try to use the same pump. When I run 87 I average between 32/3...

I would just like to see some on the road! Maybe it is like when the 1GN debuted- it took a while before I started seeing others (I about went nuts when I saw a transport full of multicolored 1GNs in a truck stop parking lot around spring of 1984 ). Gramps, How's that time machine working for ya?

He's got an '04 Bill, it's a hydro clutch assembly, he likely will notice zero difference in pedal feel, but you're right that he may take a while to get used to the take up.

Almost every Neon I have ever owned, driven or seen has some piston slap, obviously it depends on a lot of things, mileage, age, whether they were drunk or high assembling the motor, but I have never had one go terminal one me just from a little piston slap. I wouldn't be too worried about it at all...

There should be part numbers stamped into the strut housings, on the back sides, check that first. Its pretty impossible to install struts backwards, but possibly springs I guess, but I think it's just sitting at the standard ride height for inexpensive suspension replacement. I've had lots of luck ...

He's already had an SRT and the R/T is way better on fuel than an SRT ever will be.

And with the right bolt ons and a good tune, you could easily pick up 20-25hp over stock, making for a nice, fun, reliable DD.

Front is not compatible.

Rear can be used with some modification to the end link set up from what I know.

Why use 1GN ones unless you have some serious aftermarket performance ones? Just get a set of used SRT or RT ones?

Probably get a decent increase in fuel economy now! I change plugs every other oil change. Car loves it and runs strong that way.

I'm gonna be the 1st to say I don't like the exhaust. I think it looks out of place and comically large.

I'm sure it sounds good, but I think the fitment is poor.

Can't wait to see what you plan on doing with the car though!
