wow i think im going to look into a pt alt if someone can throw out the year or part num we need for the exchange.

wouldnt the high output damage the battery or over charge it..

anybody thats done this swap notice any change in idle or overal performance.

yeah im going to tell him to get it. before he leaves..

so far he has lowering springs
ceramic headers and cat back.
I havent seen it in person to look it over but he does have it the si blue, gun metal 17s with lip.
if he doesnt do the swap then any tip on what i should start with..

the main reason that the srt can get away without mufflers stock is the fact that federal law acknowledges a turbocharger as a muffler. that is the reason that 99% of the srt cases are thrown out. Thank you for pointing that out. thats why the srt4 doesnt have any mufflers or flow restictions in it...

probleme with the hydraulic tensioner is that it tends to stay stuck and not tension, not sure if i said that right. thats how mine went bad.. think it was caused by water damage from antifreeze..

wont that mess up the battery making it over charge, or blow fuses..

sounds like you might need capasitors for your amp to fix your dimming probleme. and getting a new battery thats built for high out put like a oddessy bat.

At times after topping off at the pump the needle will indicate full then suddenly drop as if there was no reading.. it will stay like that with no reading for 1 min then jump back to the top of full. Is that an early indication that my fuel pump is going out.
