if you are talking side-exit on both sides of the car you are going to spend a fortune insulating the undercarriage fuel and brake lines. The guy (nodestiny?) with the rear cut-out exhaust really had a great idea. (60's Mustangs anyone?) A single side exit would be your best bet unless you did it be...

No doubt that the production Charger SRT-8 is a bad mofo. It's mean lookin and halls ass. The concept vehicle integrated everything that was cool about the old Duke boys ride and then accentuated it. It was a slick car despite the lack of a retro grill area.

Yeah it is old news but still good MB fodder. What makes me the sickest about these companies is that they promote the cars as being "all new" half the time. The GTO has been avaialble as a Holden in Australia for almost a decade, we 'mericans get the leftovers that the Aussies and Euros are done wi...

Yeah, the Hondas are (unfortunately) simple vehicles that are very abundant in terms of car/parts availability. It would be a worthwhile way for him to learn.

1G bro. You can learn about your new 2G while you fix up the beater. Much of the cars are very similar or the same. It will make you more comfortable under both hoods. :D If you don't decide on the 1G, buy the DSM-AWD. There are TONS of parts available and lots of aftermarket stuff.

The guy that designed some of Chrysler's best vehicles (Tom Gale = SRT-4) has gone over to the Dark side a few years ago. We are just seeing the results now. Sucks huh? They are marketing rebadged Chryslers basically.

16 is the legal driving age in California. His car is way-to bling to be rollin' illegally anywhere Oakland. He'd be nuts rollin' in that neighborhood with an eye-catching car at 15 years old.

Are you getting blues? IPP's? What's your goal? Are you going to autocross the car or just cruise the East Bay? Coilovers will (should) cost more than $500 A good strut/spring combo should cost a bit more too after the alignment and such. Then the sways are gonna' probably cost more than you think t...

My guess is that they are relatively the same product. I'm not surre of what durometer (hardness) either company uses. Anything is better than the stock stuff though. Look at your upper engine mount all ripped and cracked after 3,000 miles off the sales floor. The rest of your rubber is made of the ...

When you had your Energy Susp. bushings in place of the PSI Fi up front did you have the same toe problem after a while? My car suddenly got real twitchy when applying throttle while cornering. The bushings were my first thought cuz the sway-end links wore out quick.

Sounds like you'll have quite a little canyon-carver. I'd loose the Goldline's eventually. (Wanna' buy some Eibach pro-kits on KYB's in a few months?lol) You will enjoy the difference with your sways this spring. :)
