All right, thanks everyone ! :) The reason I asked was because those two holes seemed to be a lot closer to the front of the car than the ones on the driver side. But I guess it's all good now. And yes, I already tapped one of the driver side holes with the proper M8 x 1.25 tap. The threads are stil...

Rear swaybar mounting hole question

So, things aren't looking really good, or it's totally normal. I have only three mounting holes for the rear sway bushing clamps on my 2005. One of them (passenger side) is a huge elongated frame hole. Is this normal ? http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y516/joyforall99/IMG_1305b_zpsee7e7fa4.jpg An...

Alright, so the cross-threaded drain plug scare was in fact a false alarm. Apparently the bolt head was stripped so they welded a new bolt head on. Still, I already purchased a used oil pan and started to clean it up, removed all of the rough casting marks, and I will be painting it next weekend pro...

Hello again. I finished cleaning up the engine bay last week, tucked the accelerator and cruise cables, refitted the big rubber bands on the rad hose sleeve. It looks a bit better. http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y516/joyforall99/IMG_1234_zps910dc269.jpg I also bought a new bumper cover ...

Sun visors with extensions ?

While on a road trip this weekend, the sun was shining from the side between the visor and the B-pillar for hours. grrr.... So I was wondering if there was some visors with extensions to cover that gap. I'm just asking because this option was available on my former car (92-98 Pontiac Grand Am). It's...

Just a quick picture-less update. I finally adjusted my headlights and I must say I'm disappointed in Chrysler to not have been able to come up with an easy way of adjusting them without having to remove them from the car ! :banghead: Anyway, it's done and I can see further than 15 feet in front of ...

Another thing: if we replace the HVAC control panel with an A/C-less one, do we need anything else from the donor car ? Since it doesn't have the inside/outside air selector knob, do we just leave the cable unhooked ? Or do we need to pull the whole underdash assembly to match the control panel ? Th...

SCORE ! I found this little thing during yesterday's junkyard run ! http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y516/joyforall99/IMG_1188_zps62fccb42.jpg I also found 12 feet of 2-gauge battery cable out of a Lincoln LS and a driver side radiator bracket that isn't as rusty as my current one. I also f...

Well, in some areas they use a saltier mixture. I do know that the previous owner was commuting on the bridge over the St-Lawrence river near Quebec City and apparently they use an awful lot of salt there. Coupled with a lack of mudflaps, you get magic rocker panels ! They disappear by themselves. :...

Yeah, it's a good idea in theory, but as you can see, every fastener is rusty and the radiator brackets are disintegrating... so it doesn't work.

Sounds good for sure. I'm on the fence for the P/S though.

I know the cruise control was dealer installed in 2009 or so, sadly.

And I may race it someday, but not this year. :)
