I think that changing the colors will look great. But, think about checking around for powder coating pricing. It will be a lot more durable and will last much longer than liquid paint. Just a thought.

nice. what are some of your general prices like valve covers and intake manifolds. Stuff like that. Prices are as follows, typically speaking. Price can change due to number of parts being done in same color at same time, amount of prep work needed, etc. But they normally do not vary too much from ...

Powder colors for the 2nd Gen Neon

I've done so many SRT4 valve covers that I know what the most popular color is for them. But this question is for all you 2nd Gen guys and gals. If you were going to have one or more parts coated, what color would you choose. I've got SEVERAL colors already in stock and can get just about any other...

Well... every year the 2nd gen was out DCx took something away to cut cost. In 2000 and some 2001 they had trunk lid carpet... after that it was gone. 2000 and 2001 had chrome handles... after that (besides the SRT) they were gone. I'd say the 2000 had the most goodies and every year after that the...

Thinking about another Neon

So, I've gotten rid (pretty much) of the 1st Gen. Now I'm looking for another car to serve as a DD. Got another project going right now so the Neon would be next. SO...my question being...Is their any major difference between the years of the 2nd Gen? I mean, is one year better than another as far ...

Re: aftermarket

yes the stock VC is pretty much plastic, but they do sell the aftermarket powdercoated VC's made by Mopar, also the SOHC 1st gen Neon valve cover does fit, it only changes that little breather hose, and they are pwdercoatable. I have heard of many people who race their neons switching to the first ...

Yup...if it is ANY part plastic I can't do it. Not to say that it can't be done however. There are some different types of powders and curing processes that can do plastic, glass, and even wood. But those just aren't services I can offer.

The magnum VC is made of metal. I've heard of some people being able to sucessfully powdercoat the non-Mag VC but ...
