This is why I keep track of mine. Never missed a fill up. ;) I've gotten 20mpg a couple of times, don't know why. It's funny, when I rip on it I seem to get good mileage, too. Hahah. See here: http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j144/glasswars/dfdf.jpg Stock ATX fyi. I like your spreadsheet there. I'...

I work 7 days a week. To top off a 12 gallon tank here is around $32.40. $2.70 a gallon. I drive back and forth to work at 23.8 each trip totaling 47.6 miles daily. At 20.14 mpg I get 241.68 miles total. 241.68 divided by 47.6 miles = 5 work days roughly. I fill 6 times a month so 6x $32.40 = $194.4...

I always top mine off at 1/8th tank. When my light comes on. I usually top it with around 10+gallons at that point so that's how I figure it's a 12 gal tank. If I put 3 gallons in it always nets me 1/4 tank. Either way if i'm off .2-.3 gallons, my figures clearly show something is not right. I mean ...

I disagree with you - your guage does not read perfect. FILL UP and use that. If you are close, great, I stand corrected - but the only true way to measure MPG is just like I stated. Check a math book  ;) Please, just fill up and either prove me wrong or right. ;) Again. I filled up set the tr...

Re: 20.14 miles per gallon. WTF?
I drive the Neon to work and just started paying attention to my gas mileage. Work is 23.8 miles away and 23.8 back. I filled the tank and reset my trip meter. Today I had 1/8 a tank exactly and 211.5 miles on the trip. What is going on? I don't get on the motor either, unless I'm passing. Oh yeah ...

Sorry to bring this up from the dead but I just had the same thing happen to me tonight. The only difference is I also keep blowing fuse 15. So what did you swap out the Multi Switch? I might start there and see if thats the prob. I took the switch out and opened it up. The copper connections were ...

Won't the braking bias be off with SRT-4 rear calipers and stock Neon fronts? Not that I can tell. Mine actually feel exactly the same as when I had drums. No noticeable difference in braking performance or feel. I've gotten on the brakes pretty good a couple times from 90 mph (slowing to make the ...

I wouldn’t clear coat it. There have been experiments with the Rustoleum clear, they do make it, and the usual paint, buff and polish. After reading hundreds of pages they came to the conclusion that there is no difference between the two looks anyways. One of the benefits of not having a clear coat...

$50 paint job anyone?
Not sure if anyone has followed the new Rustoleum trend but I thought I'd help spread the word. Make sure you read at least the first 4 pages on the Moparts thread. Check out the guys Charger. http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?t=257316&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 http://i17.photobucket.com/...

i'm serious about borrowing someone's wideband. i really don't want to buy one. all i'm gonna do is tune it and yank it out. That's the biggest mistake big direct port users make. With an expensive engine like ours man your going to need the wideband all the time. X2 with a progressive controller s...

Here's the link. Also he hasn't tuned it completely yet, there's probably still more power to be found there. Sarge, I think the R/T with 10.5 compression and all the major bolt ons with a 2.0 block is only good for 160 tops. I haven't seen anything higher with a 2.0. http://forums.neons.org/...
