OMG!

easier way to take out the vents is aim them down, they try and roll em down further, after a sec they will slip outwards, then simply pull em out. no screwdriver needed. To put em back, just slide one end in, and pop it back in place.

white stuff is normal, its not a grease, if you touch it its hard and shiny like plastic. my stocker has it, and my MSD has it, its normal.

i did mine too, but sadly, it went when i had my wreck :-( I will however bedoing a custom headliner job very soon. Im getting a headliner from a neon that had a sunroof, so I am going to fill the hole (probably w/ cardboard or sumsort and add a fiberglass reenforced back to it so it keeps its shape...
