I had never heard anything bad about the Kirk before other than relatively small primaries, but I am doing a moderate all motor build so that shouldn't be an issue. The thing I like about TTi is you can get them coated pretty cheap $63 for ceramic (outside only) and $120 for ceramic outer and "therm...

Where are you guys finding the new TTi LTH? I know you can get them coated too for a reasonable price. Howell used to carry them but not anymore (I prefer not to deal with Howell anyway). I tried google but no luck finding the TTi LTH for the neons. Thanks Leg Break...that was back in Nov...I am sti...

Yeah, it will be awhile since I just dropped $$$ on a new MPx 60mm TB (the used ones are gone soooo fast) and a set of Rota Slipstreams. I was thinking about the Mag Kirk LTH and get that coated. The plan is to eventually go LTH> flex> high flow cat> possible resonator (leaning toward morso)> either...

I have a stock mag header now so I assume it would work, I would just need a SOHC gasket vs. the Mag gasket... I plan on doing a Mag he...

What about fuel? IIRC, the comp 400 is a little "hotter" than the Crane 14, and I have been told you have to pull fuel at idle with the 14 to get it to run correctly. I have a mag cam that has been sitting in the garage for over a year...I need help installing cause I am a noob/scared to screw up my...

I was wanting an odessy for my slow @$$ 2003 sxt for the weight savings and just to have something a little nicer under the hood, assuming the thing would last forever...but if they are just light and purdy, but don't do their job or wont last, then I will go with the autozone special. Is there an o...

I have an 01 mag cam that has been sitting in my garage for a year and a half. I was waiting for a head to P&P and put it in at the same time. Now I got the head but haven't worked on it in months (a cheap rechargable dremel works great for P&P...too bad it only works 10 min at a time). If the stupi...

I have vowed not to do buisness with Howell since I bought the Jet stage II chip and dynoed it and (not suprisingly) got nothing. I emailed Howell and called and let them know the product was junk and they blew me off. The only reason I bought the chip is cause Howell had something on the website th...

can NGC handle it
I have an 03 sxt with AEM CAI, Mag header and vibrant muffler. I am currently P&P a SOHC head that will be decked .04 and I will put a mag cam in...I assume NGC can handle that? Others have said they needed to tune fuel to get a Crane 14 to idle properly, so I figured I would ask... I wasn't concern...

on stock 7 spoke rims (which weigh about 17.25lbs each) straight grip is great, ride is smooth, road noise is minimal. They do tend to magnify torque steer a little bit (the wider track maybe). Haven't been to the track since I got them but they handle 3-3500 rpm clutch drops at lights with just a t...

just follow what I wrote and it should go pretty straight forward. IF some bolts give you trouble try some PB blaster or simlar product, some also idle the car a little to heat things up, but not too hot! 1-3hp gain...maybe. I did not bother dynoing just the header. I am doing a self P&P on a sohc h...

I plan on pulling my spoiler off soon. Need to find something other than bubblle gum and duct tape to fill the holes. There is a guy (streetbadges.com) who sells plugs for the neons that are painted to match, just not in my color. And he has some negative reviews lately so I am waiting to see how th...

Not sure about the SAFC. I was told that the Crane 14 needs some fuel management to run correctly. The comp 400 is comparable to the Crane 14? Eventually I want a SAFC, but don't need it right now. Want to get the head/cam stuff done and then a 60mm tb and then I want to get a mag intake (just like ...

I am in the same boat with ya'll (well maybe another boat next to ya'lla boat cause ya'lls boat is getting full). I have an 01 Mag cam and mag springs waiting to go into my 03 sxt. I am picking up a complete head today (minus lifters) and I will be getting it decked .04 and then doing a light P&P an...
