Re: The Sequential neon thread

Oh, I was saying that I added mine.

So if the last 6 of the VIN isn't it, how do I find out?

Re: 2002 R/T Build V2

Did somebody steal the injector cover and pawls from your car previously? I thought all the Magnums had that cover?

Thanks for re-upping your project log. I like this car.

Re: Random posting

Neon has been a trooper lately and I'm pretty sure this is the coldest weather I've put it though. Not bad for 206k miles.

Re: The Sequential neon thread

Added! I really thought I'd be the oldest 2003 since my car was built in July 2002. Also, there are random 03+ features missing on mine, like the bosses in the dash cover where the SRT-4 boost gauge mounts.

Re: 2018 Carlisle Official Thread

Currently I'm battling issues with my engine flopping around and hitting the floor. Hopefully bolting in a transmission will fix that. If it does, then I'm going this year.

You got it. Good that you found out what was going on.

My car is 22mm in front and 19mm in the rear and I think it works great. My car is also at stock ride height. So I think that your proposed 24mm front 22mm rear combination will add a bit more stiffness but keep a good balance. It will definitely be a huge difference from having nothing in the rear!

Nice work! Now time to add a rear sway bar to make that car handle.

Installing a PT Cruiser shifter is probably one of my favorite things I've ever done to my Neon. That, and adding front and rear ACR sway bars.

To be honest with both of you, when I started driving manual "three on the tree" was the only thing available ... automatics were a novelty. Now when driving on a country road with no traffic, running through the gears in the SRT-4 is great fun. However when I'm stuck in traffic, I curse the clutch...

I know that I'm out of sync with current thinking. Shifting speed isn't the issue for me- I just prefer to do the work myself. Well, if you're out of sync, then I am too. It used to be that manuals shifted faster. That doesn't apply anymore. It also used to be that maunals got better gas mileage. T...

Man, something about watching the car at the end of that video come tearing around a corner with the back smashed like that just looked so wrong and bad-ass at the same time. I'm glad that you guys are ok! Hopefully you can get that rear clip on there in good time.

Not that I will be buying either model anytime soon (unless I win the lottery ) but I wouldn't want an ATX. I'll be surprised if someone doesn't mod one of these to accommodate an MTX (like the Prowler owner who put in a Hemi with a Shaker hood). Switching to a manual in the Charger, even thou...

From my experience, the viscous fluid units seem to last much longer. I'm very surprised to hear this. For the amount of GM, VW, Mazda, Ford, and other mounts that I've had to change where the failure resulted in brownish-clearish-purplish goop everywhere, I've learned to absolutely despise liquid-...

The only time you need to play around with swapping injectors or messing around with the cam magnet is running the 2.4 off of a 2.0 PCM. My plan when I eventually do the same to my 2003 is to use the same year non-turbo PT cruiser PCM. This will work with the existing Neon wiring and will run the en...

High Miler Club

Mods, if this should go in Off Topic, please feel free to move it there. I saw this on the Turbo-Mopar forums: http://blog.chryslerllc.com/blog.do?id=1778&p=entry I had never heard of that! I'm going to get a 100,000 mile plate for the Neon (maybe not ON the Neon, but definitely for it), and I'm not...
