:rofl2: I know this isn't actually funny, but it's only funny for me because nothing happened. My brother and I were in my mother's 1985 Reliant wagon waiting for her to come out. It was off and the keys weren't in it. Somehow it got shifted out of park and started rolling extremely slowly down the ...

Yep, that sounds about right. Hopefully they've got the drive-by-wire mapping figured out by then.

Slime tire sealer? Nothing wrong with that. Yuck. There's nothing wrong with it providing that you never have to dismount a tire that's full of that crap. It is freaking nasty. Anybody that uses it should be obligated to warn any tire tech that works on their car. Besides, the plug kits are a much ...

Search around neons.org for "roach". I believe he was at 400hp on his T350.

Honestly, I'd go through the effort of putting an LSD in a T350 and running that versus running a T850. More reliable, and you can grab a spare or two to keep around for short money.

Does Adam still have a collection of 1st gens that you could make one good one out of?

There are actually quite a few 2nd gens around here on dealer lots. Although you'd probably have to 5-speed swap them. I don't know for sure.

2013 Carlisle Caravan: New England, New York, New Jersey

Hi all,

If this is posted somewhere else, point me to it and I'll have the mods get rid of this one. I'm planning on driving down Thursday as I have for the past 8 years. Anyone want to meet up? Nicko? Caraudioholic? Rage? Slaw?

The only effect that it has related to A/C is that the car bogs less with the A/C on once you've got the underdrive in there. I'm now at nearly 160k miles on my Unorthodox with no issues.

Front sway bar end link - stock length?

Ok, so Autozone has about 8 different lengths for the Energy Suspension sway bar end links. I don't have stockers to compare them to. Does anybody know how long the stock links are?

I spoke with a tech at SPEC, and he said there wasn't anything he could do with a 5-year-old clutch, regardless of the mileage. He'd sell me a new disc relatively cheap if the pressure plate is ok, but I'm wondering now if I've got alignment issues somewhere, or if the input shaft is worn, allowing ...

I just happen to have two 555 units, so that's what I stayed with. Believe me, if I had a 523/568, I'd run a stock Turbo III clutch and probably never have to worry about anything. Plus I wouldn't have the reverse lockout anymore, so I could run any selection of Neon short throw shifters (not that I...

Geez, plenty of clutch carnage around! I wish I could run a stock SRT clutch in this car. It's rated for about the power range I'm in right now, no chattering, good OEM stuff. The splines on the input shaft are the deal breaker for that one. 84-90 transmissions had a slightly smaller input shaft. He...

Yeah that is kinda weird. Then again, I had them on a 1988, which was before those wheels even existed. I think the Ninja wheels might look pretty nice on a Neon. My particular set came from a 1991. My Neon is only 10 years old, but the wheels on it are of legal drinking age. Those wheels are 15" no...
