After submitting his info to SCC and the article is written the car is photographed, things change over time. Especially his car. I don't care what parts they listed. A friggin' Neon that will eat Vettes in the quarter is in SCC instead of a Skyline. :D A-f'king-MEN. That car will eat more than Vet...

Just picked this issue up yesterday after I read that Roach's car was in it. This car is pure bad ass. The only things that I saw were the incorrect engine code (this has been beaten to death on the .org), and it also says under the Specs column that it has a Neon R/T cluster in it, but the speedo i...

American car- champion Asian car- NGK European car- bosch Yeah, the old turbo 2.2/2.5 motors love the Champions. My first car was an 88 Golf and naturally it liked Bosch best. I've always put the stock Delco plugs in my dad's S-10 with no bad results. I have a set of NGK's in my Neon right now just...

I'm running a Purolator PureONE oil filter with regular Mobil 1 5W-30, 5000 mile change intervals. Wal-Mart near my house is $19.99 for a 5-quart. $4/quart, can't argue with that. I bought my '03 back in July with 27k miles on it. It has 41k on it now and I've used Mobil 1 the whole way so far.

I laughed when I found out what GLH meant. Check out a guy named Mike Marra... He built a GLMF, hehe.

I have yet to sit in the HHR. I would really like to because when I drove a PT, I was surprisingly impressed with it. I'd love to see how the HHR compares to it. You show me one part on a Neon that will match part of an 80's MOPAR and I'd be really surprised. The 2.0/2.4 head thing has already been ...

Mine is just one connector, plus the antenna. I thought all 02+ were like that? Maybe it's 03+ instead. My 03 Neon is the same as my brother's 04 Ram. I thought my mom's 02 Stratus was the same, but now I'm not sure.

It's not too late. It would be great to have. Thanks alot!

SWEET, I got my LEDs today! So I got extra ambitious. I didn't change any of my warning lights because I don't want one coming on and just blending in with the dashboard. My LFS does the same, but not that high. If I put it in neutral while moving, it hangs at 12-1300rpm, then back down to 800ish at a dead stop. I never really considered it to be a problem, but if it was as high as yours, I might look into it. Vacuum leak is also where I'd start.

I ordered mine last week. There's an "SRT-4 Kit" that has enough 194's to do your gauges, boost gauge, turn signals, and high-beam indicator. I talked to Chris over at AutoLumination, and he said the SRT kit comes with the 5-led "Wedge Matrix" bulbs for the gauge illumination, so I ordered 6 of thos...

You can buy K&N filters at any Advance Auto. So far, that's the only place I've seen them. As far as PureONE, almost every auto store I've seen had them.

Ah, electric blue... bastard I wish I had that color. I bought mine used so it wasn't really a choice.

pinout for 02+ stereo connector?

Does anybody have it? And I'm not talking about the color codes. I need to know what each pin on the unit itself does. I didn't want to have to tear into my car and figure it out by the harness, but if no one has it handy, I'll have to do that.

I go somewhere between 4k and 5k with Mobil 1 5W30 and a PureONE filter. I used to use a K&N on my Daytona and it quieted my poor lifters that were VERY loud on a cold start, even after 4000+ miles. So that says something about the quality of K&N's anti-drainback valves. That was on a pretty worn en...

Connector on the side of my coil pack was loose when I threw that code. Whoever had it must have had a hotter coil on it, then sloppily switched back to stock to sell it. Took me friggin forever to find it because I had just changed the plugs and that's the main place I was looking for screw-ups.

I know both 02 and 03 recommend 5W30. I have no idea why they changed it to 5W20 for 2005 on an engine that was left unchanged (to my knowledge).

Go there, and find #194 LED's. You'll need ten to do all the gauges and your turn-signal and high beam indicators. Otherwise you'll just need seven.
Which ones do you use? Oval wide angle?
