Put the new TB on, then reset the ECU by pulling the fuel pump fuse for a while. Hopefully this will calibrate the ECU for the new TPS curve, since it won't be exactly the same range as the stock TB.

The case of the missing order

I distinctly remember an order coming through a couple days ago, but somehow it's vanished from my system. If you made an order a couple days ago and haven't gotten your product yet, please send me a PM with what you are waiting for so I can verify it and get it sent out.

Stock engine - depends on your tuning. 03+ ECU, 0psi. Portfueler, 8psi. AEM or MS standalone tuned perfectly, 20psi.

Stock trans - Nobody has really figured that out. They usually screw up the first step first.

Stock PCM - no.

I think the VSS is the same wheel, but may be a different plug. You could probably just rewire the reverse light switch and VSS, and it would be just fine.

Dante, is it acceptable to observe a small child eating a lemon snow cone at a fair, and your first thought is that it's not lemon?

The preorder is pending still. It was supposed to be done months ago. It was overdue at Carlisle last year, and then they screwed up 2 more molds. Preorder is in the lower 3s, stock will be in the upper 3s while it lasts.

1. Yes, eventually ASP will have the manifold you need. It's not yet available though, because of manufacturing issues. 2. Best for big numbers will make the 40te you have not very fun to drive. Best for nimble street car would be something that shines at less than 400whp. A used hahn turbo would co...

Just put the a1000 inline and don't worry about the FPR. You won't have to bypass it if it never reaches that pressure, and if you are using a bigger pump to create the pressure and you're doing at least a 50psi base, you won't have to worry about it.

More complex for less gain. Doesn't sound like a winning proposition to me. Will it work? Sure. You could probably get to the moon with enough bottle rockets too. Doesn't mean that's a good way to do it.

I've been in a lot of fast cars, and his is probably the closest to making me pee. It's sad to see it go, but it also means ASP will dabble in the V8 market.

It sounds like something to do with overrun. When you let off the gas and decel in gear, after a short time it will shut off the injectors entirely. But if conditions are riding the line and it's turning them back on and off, you will get that surging. The conditions it is looking for is TPS below a...

Yea, that's a little too naughty, I would think. If it's still brand new, you may want to sell it now before you get it in the car, realize it's hurting you in the midrange, and then have to pull it and sell it used.

Juneau, AK. No racing there, but it's like 30-70F all the time. No blistering cold, no sauna-like heat. Everyone boats. Heck, you can't get there directly by road. Have to drive onto a ferry. I wanna go there and become a mountain man. I'll hunt, make beef jerky, grow vegetables, and have a pet bear...
