The regulator works, but not for more than about 10-12psi on pump gas, and you have to drive it like an on-off switch. Either no boost or lots of it. Part-throttle boost causes problems.

Yep. Intercooling is cheap, in the scheme of things. It would be kinda dumb to boost without one on a gasoline motor that's touchy for detonation anyway.

MS is not that tough, but the concept of tuning is harder to grasp. Once you know what you're looking for and why, applying it to MS isn't tough at all. *shameless plug* I have a remote tuning service available now in addition to full-on install and hands-on tuning. If you can follow the wiring diag...

Even with the lower compression, it will make more HP than stock. But I would recommend to mill the head about .020". Just keep in mind that automatically retards both cams about a degree.

Ah, that works. I'm used to everything being logged all the time regardless, at a flat speed of like 25hz. But for really sensitive stuff, that would be great to read even faster.

Well, if you write lyrics like you write these reflections, it shouldn't be an issue to play in the ring with the rest of the bands. Of course, that's provided the rest of the band doesn't suck.

It seems like it's sampling somewhere between 6-8hz. Am I reading that right? If so, that's plenty to figure out the correlation codes, etc. Faster would be more convenient, but it looks like it's getting the job done.

To me, the disagreement wasn't about the NGC at all. He's much more versed in it than I am. Heck, I'm sure you are too. I was looking for answers to my findings that directly contradicted what he was saying. He took it like I was trying to prove him wrong. Then the MS bash was just plain incorrect. ...

OD, just cuz I know you love seemingly pointless knowledge, the stock DOHC head has a 52cc CC as opposed to the 48cc of the SOHC head. Although it doesn't take much milling to get right back down with a DOHC head. I happen to have experimented... heh For those of you that don't understand, that's wh...

Yep, the prototype currently in service on a members car is imagined. Besides, the tooling for those is free anyway, so I must be pocketing everybody money.

If you are asking, I suppose I should answer honestly. The chances are less than 1% that I've ever been in California. The 99%+ being if I'm mentally stable enough to recall an event like that. The <1% being if I've ever had a psychotic episode that I'm as of yet unaware of that has brought me to Ca...

With those mods, you aren't changing VE enough to make the stock tune any less effective than one you would make yourself.

Are you monitoring your AFR now?

If you have a turbo, it's a pretty simple procedure to make more power. A boost controller set to make an additional 2psi will do more than every bolt-on you could ever buy put together.

No, it has to do with the differential doing a higher percentage of the work without the ring gear moving fast enough to whip around the fluid in the trans so it can keep up with the heat being created.

You lost a little power because the wastegates in those Hahn turbos are too small and overboost when there's no back pressure. Your boost level actually went down when you put the exhaust back on. The portfueler is near it's usable limit with pump fuel right about where you are at. The stock ignitio...

Dodge engineers hate us as a general rule. I know a couple people at the Belvidere plant, but not in engineering. I know there's a guy on neons.org that would be much closer than any of us, although I'm not willing to name him as I'm not sure he wants to deal with the chore.
