Very good. And they say mods don't work on an NGC... lol My 16.2 was a very respectable number when I was stock, and you're way past that in a heavier car.

Trunk carpet comes out basically by pulling on it, passenger seat is 4 bolts, the bottom of the back seat pulls out, and the back of the back seat is only like 4 bolts. That should pull more than 100 pounds total.

I was tossing around 10.5:1 compression in mine, seeing as I run e85 all the time. I decided I'm going to go right around the 9.8:1 mark that most of the neons came with, but forged.

Yep, 10.5:1 is boostable. Be prepared to use higher octane fuel to avoid detonation that a 10.5:1 compression motor will be prone to. Megasquirt + E85 would solve your problems. No, it wouldn't be emissions legal, but it would certainly spool the turbo faster and give you a lot more torque off-boost.

The turbo is going to be teeny. Probably work OK around 10psi, but don't expect to make any earth-shattering numbers. If it's intercooled, grab the intercooler. They fit pretty good near the trans for a side mount, and aren't horribly inefficient for their size. Just please don't do something stupid...

oh ok, thats what ive read before but someone on neons.org wrote this and I got spooked "If you are talking about SRT4 injectors in a 2.0L then you need some serious work such headwork and all mods to start that need in fuel increase" Thats probably for someone who is not boosted. You can idle the ...

You need to come closer to the RPM of the gear you are trying to go into to get that smooth shift. If you're trying to get into first from a roll to downshift, gently (I mean it) put pressure on the synchros, and it will slide in when it's ready. Slamming it into the next gear has already cost me a ...

Sway bar brackets

Does anyone have a strut laying around that has the sway bracket welded on? I'm cutting a set of brackets for ...

I'm running the MS in my NGC. I can just send you a copy of my MSQ file, and you can adjust the maps for your application and drive away happy. The AEM does have more room for a tighter map, but frankly, 8X8 is plenty as long as the ECU is interpolating properly. As far as features, the MS wins, see...

Depends on how you are controlling boost. The simplest way would be to cap one of the ports on the turbo, and run a line directly from the other one to the WGA. That should give you about 4psi from what I've been hearing.

Yep, it's tough to idle big injectors, which is why his setup has a valid use and is not just a hack. But really, the fact remains that there isn't anyone that's been able to make big power on an NGC ECU because of all the extra controls listed in all the other millions of posts about it.

I wish I could do something as simple as that though. Unfortunately, I need monster injectors on all 4 cylinders. Just 1 or 2 won't do it. I'll be around 375 whp using e85, so I need to build my fuel system to handle about what the average 550 hp car would need. The disadvantage is that there isn't ...

Well, if it works, it works. What you're doing is adding more fuel with the 5th injector than the ECU is programmed to pull out. The same thing could theoretically be done with very large injectors. (550cc+) It's a decent fix at low boost, but it's not scalable. I'm surprised it's not throwing codes...

The reason people say that the trans doesn't work in a neon is because they don't fit in a first gen. The hard part is axles, hubs, etc. that go with it.

That's true that tuning changes at higher elevations, but every system that works well has some sort of variable for calibrating MAP to atmospheric pressure, as well as exhaust gas correction. Basically, if the tune is good at sea level, it's still going to be a relatively good tune at 8k ft.
