Excellent! Thank you so much! The swap sounds really easy, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it. I can't wait! Thanks again!

OK some more great points.. yes I would like to do the swap, but there are alot of factors that weigh in.. as you just said, adam, for the price of the swap I could probably pick up a used SRT. And the insurance thing bothers me.. I should check with Geico about what they do if I have a nonstock eng...

Alright good info again guys.. As it turns out, I have to get this damage fixed, because there's alot of internal damage from the idiot's jeep underneath the bumper cover.. so I'll just see how things go.. and if I think I'll have time to do the swap. I mean blue book says I can get 6-7k on a trade-...

Hey thanks for all the info! Ironically, some idiot rear ended me yesterday.. soo I'm going to see if there's a way I can turn that and some cash into an SRT-4 haha.. Good info about the AGP kit, that's the kind of power I'd like to make. How streetable is an SRT with that kit, though? This is a dai...

You can sometimes find cheap SRT-4s out there for 13-14K, sometimes less if they have more miles. Personally I like my swap, I learned a lot about my car and had a lot of fun in the process. I don't pay the insurance amount of an SRT-4 as the VIN still displays as an R/T giving me R/T rates. If you...

Hey! Thanks for the response! I'm currently insured with Geico, and I ...

Which is more cost effective?
I've done a bunch of research over the past few days on doing the SRT-4 swap into my 2003 SXT ATX.. and I keep coming back to this question: Which is more cost effective? Well, cost effective really isn't a good term.. because there are other factors besides cost, so I'll just say, which do you guys...

Hey guys! thanks for the prompt responses.. hopefully I'll get a junked SRT and use its keys.. otherwise i'll have to look into these other options.. that's good info about the stages.. I can't really afford the stage 3.. but I can most likely afford a stage 2 w/o toys.. so then in the future I coul...

Solution to the sentry key issue?
Hey! I'm planning out my swap, and I keep coming back to the issue that I currently have sentry keys, and would like them after the swap. I'm not sure how the system works, but I know when you order a stage kit, you must supply the VIN for them to flash onto the new computer. Would it solve the sent...

It's been a while since I've posted here.. seems like the SRT-4 swapping is alot more popular than when I last checked! Alright great, thanks! I can do any sort of work, so long as I have instructions or an idea of what I'm supposed to be doing -- but since it's a sentry key, and I'm dealing with the ignition, I want to make sure I do it right so that it doesn't cause problems and lock up or something -- PM sent than...

Remote Start
My neon used to be garaged, but now we moved and we're doing construction on the new house.. until that's all done, the neon has to stay outside.. so I was looking into getting a remote starter so the car isn't freezing for the first 10 minutes of my ride every morning.. and if the construction last...

i've also done this swap...and it's not as easy as it seems. There are a lot of small annoyances you'll run into along the way, but in the end, it's well worth it. FWIW, I did the swap in an '02 also...but the '03's don't have as much similar to the SRT as you'd think. You will definitely need the ...

alright sweet.. Yeah I've had a CAI for more than a year now, and I'm always cautious about driving through puddles and such, but never had a problem... 03+ already has the cutout in the core support so you won't have to do any cutting. For you it'll be a little easier. There's just a few little things here and there that aren't very hard to figure out but are sorta annoying. After reflect finishes his maybe me, josh, him, and a few other guy that ...

Hey thank you very much I appreciate it!
