In my Ford Windstar the brake light was constantly on so I added about 1/4 pint of brake fluid and the light has not turned on since. Also, the brake pads were just replaced - so there goes your theory. The brake system is a sealed system. For good reason, water does nasty things in there. If the f...

I remember seeing pictures where it looked like he swapped the stock white bulbs out for blue. I've never had problems with my stock white LEDs, besides, they're DOT approved. I don't know if the ebay headlights are the same, but with my Moderns, the 194 bulbs themselves only recieve enough current...

Low brake fluid will not make the brake lights light up.

And if your fluid is low, dont add fluid. Replace your worn brake pads.

Does the 3rd brake light work?

Changing the wheel bearings or brake pads/drums will not affect the lights.

Check your brake light switch under the dash. Its a white box looking switch attached to the pedal assembly.

solder, solder, solder, and one more thing, solder. O2 sensors work on resistance. If you just twist the wires together and tape them, you will increase the resistance and they will no longer work properly. Resulting in poor performance, mileage, and possibly fry your cat. Use the same gauge wiring ...

Close enough. It sounds like the bracket the pedal is mounted on might be bent. Look up under your dash and look for the white box looking switch. Thats your brake light switch. Bend the bracket it is on forward a bit, and that should solve the issue.

Ive replaced them on several cars. I started with just a large cresent wrench, but after doing so many, I broke down and bought the sensor socket. I think it was about $12, and worth every penny if you do this job more than once.

The 3spd has no computer control, so your MTX ecu will work fine. The VSS are the same. (should be anyway, unless they were changed for NGC cars, which I doubt) The ONLY thing you wont have is the converter lockup. Thats the only electronically controlled part of the 3spd. But you can just wire that...

I prefer the idea of milling the head .030, gaining .3-.4 static compression, and tossing a mild cam in it. Should wake it up, and solve the warped head problem. Keep in mind that the block is cast iron and the head is aluminum. If something is going to warp, my money is on the head. ^^ What he sai...

No. Theyre all Metric. There is ONE difference that *might* cause some people issues though. While everything bolts onto the car perfectly from a 1st gen, you will need to remember that they are 1st gen calipers. 1st gen and 2nd gen use different thread pitches on the banjo bolts. This isnt an issu...

No jacking, no lifting the engine, nothing like that. Just takes a little time to unbolt it all and wiggle it out. Generally takes me 10min or so to get one out.

I dont cover anything, and spray sometimes with just the hose, and sometimes my pressure washer. Never had any troubles.

Never had any troubles using tire shine on the engine either. Got over 60k miles logged with tire shine on it.
