Most shops run on a first come first serve basis. It only takes like 15 mins to do an oil change. Depends how the shop is run. They may make the techs do a run down of the car as well. Could take another 10 mins. But if you have 2 or 3 cars ahead of yours than the time makes sense. I was a lube tech...
