sounds like the resonator box. nah, you don't need it, all it does is quiet the intake noise and restrict the flow a little. take it and punt it across the street :rockon: :thumbup:

the msd i have (8969) doesn't need a tach adapter, it has a 2 cyl setting that reads wasted spark ignitions so i don't think thats the problem...i don't know. panhead and i are gonna check everything with a voltmeter later so maybe we'll find out whats wrong then...

...and by retards i mean me :tardbang: i am using the MSD 8969 and i am NOT using a WOT switch. is this diagram correct? if not which wires are missing? can i hook up the positive from the MTV and the window switch to the same switched 12V? or do they have to be separate? can i use the fuel pump rel...

ok, first of all, i was mistaken. the car was hovering at about 1500-1800 before settling...so it turns out i kinda did have a vac leak. since i just installed the magnum manifold, and after reading through zero's link, i figured i'd check the manifold-to-head bolts and the plenum-to-manifold bolts....

floating rpms

when i push in the clutch when i'm coming to a stop, the rpms "float" at around 1200 while i'm coasting. they do drop back to normal when i come to a complete stop. i've checked for vac leaks and cleaned the IAC with TB cleaner but it still does it...kinda irritating...any ideas? VSS maybe? i think ...
