Alright, my stang finally sold for my asking price!

Picking up my 2002 Silver R/T on Friday or Saturday.



Can't wait.

It's actually a limited edition which means it has a 01+ body style on it. I'm getting rid of it solely because of insurance. I'm paying $250 a month for just collision and liability... already quoted for a 02 R/T...

$60 a month!

Boy will that leave me with a lot more money to put into the car...

A quick question for you guys. As far as the 00-02, are they the same engine wise? Meaning the non-R/T models. Would getting a 02 be better then a 00?

It seems that I'm going to have to drop the price on my stang even more which sucks because now there's no way for me to get that R/T. But I'm still looking at a few 02 ES/SXT, etc, and of course 5 speed. All around 30-50K miles on them for like $6,000 or less. Am I going to be dissapointed buying o...

I really only have 6500-7000$ if im lucky to work with. I really can't find R/T's and ACR's around this area for that.

Thanks, yeah, I really like the 00-02 body style a lot more then the 03+. As for trading it in, it's a private owner. For some reason a small dealer keeps calling my house every week wanting me to drop the price on my car so he can buy it... Kind of weird.

Well thanks very much for the info man. I think I'm going to shoot for this 02 R/T for $6,800 which is close to me, but I may not be able to sell my mustang in time. If not, I think I'm still going with an 02 ES 5 speed or 03 SXT 5 speed.

Well yeah, I would love an SRT-4... but I don't have that kind of money haha. I guess what im trying to say is it worth getting an ES, SXT as far as other cars go. Many of my friends are bashing me because I'm looking at neons. Mind you they're driving around Subaru's, Cobalt SS's, and many Mustangs...
