Re: The Weather Thread

I’ve been using about 10 gallons a week of heating oil. Doesn’t help my hot water also comes from the boiler. Next year I’m definitely switching to an electric tankless hot water setup and converting my boiler to run during “call only”. Also added ...

Like Jeremy said, the switches can leak, or get plugged, as the orifice that the oil passes through to the pressure switch is pretty small. You'll need an oil pressure switch socket, or a deep well socket 1-1/16" or 1-1/8". I can't ...

The sensor itself will go out occasionally. It's the bright green plug on the back of the block. Not the most fun to change, but it's doable. I'd replace that before worrying too much.

I figured out a few things that were askew , now it seems pretty solid. I've had a low oil pressure light on idle or low rpm, and after that was inadvertently solved via another repair, I get a p1282 , my check engine light only comes on after some time of driving, ...

I will say, do not use an ebay branded clutch.
I agree- that's why I posted the link for a Mopar replacement part.

I bought both a Mopar clutch master and clutch slave and plan to have them installed in the spring when I have my annual oil change.
