Use some safe heel cleaner, and a fingernail to scrape it off if you have to. That's what I did. Once you get it off, go upgrade to ceramic pads... Well a google search will bring up a few places, and theres a couple dealers selling them on eBay. I'm not sure whether I want those or the Hotchkis springs, but the prices for the Mopars is too high IMO. If I could get some for a reasonable price I'd be all over them, so I'm curious as well
