Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: 8/14/18 update
I had that pod in one of my old Neons. It made for a bit of a blind spot, but it wasn't terrible. It didn't take long to acclimate to it. I actually like the look of the frog pod better, but I can see how it would block the other gauges a bit. That could get annoying, having to tilt your head to re...

Well recieved my dual pillar pod piece. Test fit just to get an idea of what it will look like. Hoping to install it and have both gauges moved over soon. I'm going to love the pillar pods. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180814/171d3c14880631b99e938821a3449458.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.co...

Wow, that will get your attention! Hahaha. Yes it will. And I'm currently looking at getting a dual gauge pillar pod to remove my frog eye pod. I've come to hate my frog eye pods. Why do you hate the frog eye pods?? They're fine. You can see your gauges plenty clearly in the shot below: https://far...

Bump. Ha. Got my fogs working again. Forgot how much they come in handy especially in my neon. They are so bright. I love it. Also I bought this center bezel piece from someone at Carlisle. Can't remember his name I'm sorry when and if he sees this but he is on here. And I'm currently looking at get...

Don't bother. You won't gain anything from putting bigger injectors in your car. It's worthless and a waste of time.

Good luck.
Your only option is either a Aem fic or MegaSquirt. There is no tuning the stock ecu.

Re: 2018 Carlisle Official Thread
So... how was the HW this year? I noticed a recent, really bad review on tripadvisor so what's the scoop? There's always going to be that one person who complains. Not going to go into details. But it's a cheap hotel. Don't expect 5 star service from a 2 star place is the best way to put it. Sent f...

If the fans are working as they should then it's maybe your water pump is just weak and not flowing enough.

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/24/18
Here they are. Best picture I have so far. I installed them during my lunch break yesterday at work. These depo Diamonds look/feel of much better build quality than the projectors. Already in love with them. Even without adjusting them, they are already better at night then the projectors ever were....

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/24/18
Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments. Haven't had time to install them. Tho I did have time to remove my old black plastidip off my front bumper lip. I'm never using dip again. So terrible to take off. Plus I ruined the paint underneath it to the point I'm going to repaint the lip itself. Now I know...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/24/18
And I'm back with 1 brand new part. So I've been searching for some stock headlights on ebay recently. Thought I would just buy me a set of bone stock ones because I hate my current Depo projectors. Well to my surprise I came upon a listing for Depo diamonds which have been discontinued for some tim...

Re: Turbo piping question????
I recently did this. I had my hotside pipe 90 off the turbo over and next fit the cam gears and back down to the intercooler. Well in my attempt to clean up the engine bay I decided to run it under the engine like srt4 style. So I removed both the back engine to trans brace and the oil pan to trans ...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/11/18
I agree on taking the black off too on the front fascia Yeah the worse part is breaking in a new clutch. 500 STOP AND GO MILES. Remember that. I would log the miles when I would go into town. Interstate/highway miles didn't count. Seems to take forever haha That's a good idea about tracking the mil...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/11/18
[emoji23]🤣 Alright. The black on the bumper was something I did like 2 years ago just to see how It would look. Something I always wanted to try just like the front bumper cutout with new intercooler. But yes it's going to come off possibly as soon as tomorrow. May have some time on my hands before ...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/11/18
I think it would look a lot better without the black on the lip. I'd leave the black on the bumper itself, but keep the lip red. The new intercooler looks nice. Finally someone said something about that. I've been debating removing the black. It's just old plastidip. I'm sure I could remove it easy...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/11/18
Thanks Tom. I drove the car on its first voyage to work today. She did great. No issues. I love this new clutch plus this 3.55 trans feels great compared to my old 3.94 setup. I didn't even have to go into 5th gear on my way to work. Now time to do the 500miles break in for the new clutch. So I'm go...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/3/18
And I figured the issue out. The new battery ground I had in the trunk was in a bad spot. Moved it over to where the original cable was grounded too and all is good. Got the car to start. Everything's great. Runs smooth. Idles fine. No leaks. Good to go. After I have a chance to wash her up I'll sna...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/3/18
Check your grounds... I the only ground that I can think of being maybe bad would be the one on the lower starter bolt which goes to negative cable. Maybe me painting the trans made it useless. But I didn't get paint or anything in the side the ground is on. Either way I haven't tested that ground ...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/3/18
^hahahaha So now I have an issue with the neon. So I filled the gas tank up, went to connect the positive cable on the battery and open the drivers door to put key in and prime the line and as soon as I opened the door the boost gauge and afr gauge lit up. I'm like why in the world did that light up...

Re: Manny's 96 turbo coupe: update 6/3/18
So that's what a 7 grand tach cluster looks like. All the one's I have seen went to 8. One can only assume the SOHC cars got the 7's and the DOHC's got the 8's. Hmmm, I also noticed the cluster has stops at just over 7 thousand, and 120 mph. I'll have to look later to see if my cluster has those. Y...

And finally. Another thing done that I've wanted for a long time. A regular neon center console instead of my acr one which had no arm rest, extra storage space or 3rd cup holder.

Re: 2002 R/T Build V2
Thanks, man. I've seen so many rippled fenders from half-assed rolling jobs, that I was nervous to be aggressive with it. But it turned out pretty nice, actually. I guess that's the benefit of using the proper tools. Proper tools is always a must. Back in my 2gn days I was stupid and used some vice...

Looks a lot cleaner under the hood. You should throw some gold heat shielding on the firewall to match the trans paint. I thought about adding the gold heat shielding. That or having my valve cover powder coated gold. The Red on the valve cover has seen better days. It's powdercoated but a really o...
