Most of us are mechanically inclined and can even do body work but theres a point at where the body work required time/labor just isn't worth it. That said most just buy a clean shell......or at least one with simple damage to fix...... The mechanics part is easy. FWIW there are tons of neons on cra...

Basically this car will always leak from taillight now even with new gaskets and siliconed in place. my car was hit almost identical prior to me owning. Other than a rear quarter clip which is very time consuming ...

You might get a more receptive response if you said a 50 shot or a shot of n2o.

No one puts a shot of nos into there car. ;)

Still parts collecting, be done soon. Got brand new mopar rockers for the comp 400. Got brandy new crane springs. Picked up a nib phantom grip. Picked up a complete R/T block that barely hydralocked at 3K, apparently it still runs, rod bent ever so slightly. After some clearance checks on both the n...

Looks good and by routing the piping that way it leaves the option open to make a central mount from K frame to trans which I think will help you out a bit with putting power to the ground :) i plan on making a central motor mount next spring which will also be adjustable so i can clock the motor/a...

I was in love with a shelby edition same color right next door to me, wish I had bought it. I've always loved the Daytona Shelby, especially the 1989. However, if I started with a Shelby, I definitely would have been much more afraid to do the things I've done to this car. I likely would have had m...

If you have 2 and you go to shows and race, well you have 1 for each occasion.

Not like swapping bumpers takes more than 20 mins.

Got some mint Srt pedal covers since a couple of the knobs were worn off on my swap car, little things like that bother me.

Cleaned out garage today so I can store her for winter.

Originally planned on NIB rota slips royal gun metallic planted on 205/50/15 kumho ectsa's which I can grab for $59 each.

I suck at rim shopping though.

I really need to see them on a car/neon to know if I like them.

Thats with crane 14? Thats with stock head and cam stock exhaust manifold and a cat and 89 pump gas since most of the need for premium lies in the cam. To put it simply the stock PCM r/t or whatever holds back everything......even a simple piggy back tuner can wake this engine up , that and driver ...

SAFC II will work..... Here's 2 pulls with an SAFC II tuned right to the edge. First pull is from 3500rpm in first to 70+mph. Second is a highway pull to speed governor. IMHO, driver mod is worth more than all mods you can add to your car. Word of advice, turn audio down. http://www.youtube.com/watc...

I'll go out on a limb and say tach adapter helps fine tuning since you can also tune by rpm and not just throttle position........but it will work si...
