I think your still wrapped around the fact that we said the fogs cause this. This issue can happen without fogs as well. My MFS burned up when I didn't have fogs. The fog fuse is not what's causing the issue. The circuit that controls the Cluster, HVAC, and parking lights is the issue.

The MFS could be bad, but it's always best to start with the CHEAPEST fix, than work your way up.

It blows the fuse because when you press the key fob it lights up all those lights thus blows the fuse. Hopefully to get your lights working again is cut about 3" from the connection to the connector on wire/pin 20 (pink with red strikpe), than remove the wire with the pin and install new wire with ...

It's a pink/red wire, is it darkened at all where it goes into the connector?

FYI: Never put a bigger fuse than what is recommended to prevent further damage. Did you physically take apart the MFS connector from the MFS? If there was smoke coming from that area than 99% the MFS connector, or a wire is damaged now. You need to physically disconnect the connector from the MFS a...

Understood, I had the same problem.

The problem with the fogs though is Dodge's wiring, they use 18g wire to power it all, so it can't handle it and usually takes out the MFS harness.

Take apart the covers on your steering wheel and take a look at the MFS connector.

Lmao, I just had this problem as well and fixed mine.
Mine decided to leave the fuse untouched and went right to the harness, which isn't unheard of.

First thing to check is your MFS harness. Take a pic for me please and post it.

Do you have fogs by the way?

Lol. If you thought a GTI was quick, you are going to shit your pants in an SRT. :laughing3: $1700 is not bad for an engine + transmission, but not $1700 for just the engine. $1700 for the whole car is even better, but like someone said, the transmission is on the driver's side, so it depend...

That's very wierd, somehow the tune must have got messed up when getting loaded the first time? Almost a scary thought at the same time lol.

The weird rich shift issue would be from the way Dodge's injection system works would it? How it dumps fuel on decel?

PVO/Dodge definitely didn't make wiring long enough for long term use, probably mostly to make a cleaner looking engine bay, but hey we didn't pay for a high $ vehicle, we paid for cheap power and it works awesome! Vacuum is about right, those were mine before I changed my Intake Manifold Gasket, an...

I would defintely buy Jerry's if your in the market for one alsey_seven, as long as it's in your price range and you can work-out shipping between you to. For as long as I've been on the forums Jerry's cars have ALWAYS been maintained VERY well so you know that and that's a BIG thing!

Check this for me. I also had the hanging idle problem. My hanging idle problem came out of nowhere as well. Start the car and do: Wiggle your IAC electrical connector and see if it effects the idle at all. Unplug the connector from the sensor and see if it still idles, if it dies, try to restart it...

Yeah me too but it's a track car, completely gutted, not even a stereo lol. So it has it's purposes, also no fog light cause the air filter is there.

It really all depends on the stealership you take it and their hourly rates, they will probably just cut their hourly rate in half to do it. It's sucks since dealers are the only ones that can do it, almost a monopoly.
