Well, I took the old caliper out, cleaned out the hole for the pin very well, even took sandpaper to it, but it still didn't get any easier. So I got a new caliper (for free, cause my old manager doesn't ask questions...) on another note, I learned the hard way today that there are two different ban...

How did the hole that the rubber goes into look? if it was rusted a bit, it may be pushing the rubber inward causing the pin to bind against the rubber. I didn't get a good look in the hole. There was some residue on the rubber from rust inside that hole, So I guess I need to investigate that one a...

Rear Brake problems, need input

I'll start off explaining the setup. As some of you know I have an '05 with I think an '01 R/T rear disc setup. I did the swap a few years ago. Anyway, I've had no problems until recently. Lately I've had this annoying chatter coming from the back right wheel. So I finally dove into the back right b...

I went through a similar debate. I was between Megan's and BCs though. Never really looked at racelands. I can speak to the quality of the BCs though. I love them and have had no issues. Fairly comfortable too

Racing seat (for big people)

Not sure if this question has been covered, but I wanted to get some input from you guys. I'm looking for a racing seat, preferably fixed back, that is going to offer the support I want but for a larger person. I'm 6'5" and about 270. I'm not huge, I'm just wide, and that's the problem. I'm pretty s...

Body is in great shape aside from a little clear peeling on passenger side top of door. Everything seems to run well. It needs a front right strut, the usual control arm bushings, and he said its running rich. I'm gonna take a deeper look at it tomorrow and maybe drive it. We will see. I can't belie...

So I'm hoping to get some input from you guys I've been offered a deal from a buddy. An '03 SRT, Flame red, 120k. He wants 6500 for it, and I'm having a hard time saying no. Two issues: 1 - I'm not 100% sure what to be looking for with this car. The known issues he says are it needs a clutch fork, a...

I bought monroe sensa tracs at advance, replaced them 3 times under warranty, and got tired of it. Eventually you will get tired of the shitty ride and bottoming out so frequently.

You want to improve the air flow even more? Clean up your wiring. Every wire that sits in the path of air flow is an obstacle air needs to go around. Re-route the majority of those cables to the corners of the case and tie up the remaining into as few bundles as possible and you will have an even c...

Bill, you were right on with the wiring issue So after two weeks of my car sitting at the shop waiting for them to get to it, they pull it in at 5:30 last friday and find out the plug for the Output sensor is bad. I guess I should really just kick myself for not picking up on that one.... Anyway, on...

chatter in my steering

Hey guys, I need to confirm a fear that I'm currently stewing over. When making turns and even going in a straight line I'm getting a lot of chatter in the steering (easily felt through the wheel) over small and large bumps alike. I examined my steering components and found that the outer tie rods a...
