t-bolt clamps will work the oval inlet, they worked on mine and about 5 other srt's in the area. the t-bolt clamps are more of a "piece of mind" mod anyway

boost leak test!!!! its a must! that noise you heard was prob compressor surge, which is really no good. i would strongly advise replacing every worm drive you have with t-bolt clamps, at the most they are 5 bucks a piece but they dont loosen up over time like worm drives

Yep, 10.5:1 is boostable. Be prepared to use higher octane fuel to avoid detonation that a 10.5:1 compression motor will be prone to. Megasquirt + E85 would solve your problems.
