The light will come on if the fluid level is low; in addition to when the parking brake is applied. ;) :withstupid: This, among other things, can be avoided with a simple fluid check from time to time. As a general rule, any system that runs too low on fluid (engine, trans, brakes, coolant) will al...

^Ah ha ok cool. Are those the only non-neon axles that can be used or are there multiple PT/Shadow passenger ones that will work (if you know)? I hear you on bikes being fast off the line. Still impressive nonetheless. I saw a video of an 850HP S2K beating up on a 1000cc on the freeway and was blown...

It looks like anything but coilovers would be a waste of your money with all the fees etc when you look at what you're getting for the price. Considering that coilovers are the absolute best option for suspension anyway, I would save up and do it right. If you want to maintain a softer ride, have BC...

Any "OEM replacement" strut is not designed to be used with lowering springs. They are valved for the frequency of the stock spring rates, and will not perform properly with shorter, higher rated springs. This doesn't 100% mean that they won't last or that they will ride bad, it just means they won'...

Not necessarily, the front spring/struts are shorter than the rears, and are also higher in rate. When I had my TEIN/Tokico HP setup on the car, I could remove the rear springs without a compressor, since they were so short and relatively soft. The front were tight within the strut and required a co...

Ok so here's the deal. It's 2011, not 2001. Body kits don't win car shows like they did 10 years ago. That style is all but dead. The "it's a show car" excuse no longer makes body kits legit, since the majority of modern show cars (that actually place in shows) are being built with quality parts and...

Lower temps are a plus, but the potential for weather exposure is something to consider, especially with an aftermarket install that doesn't completely isolate the battery. I get the best of both worlds with it in the trunk, with the addition of extremely easy access. And now that I moved it out of ...

Never heard of "Leacree" suspension but Monroe is legit. That sounds like a good plan though, not a bad price at all if the quality is good. Maybe someone else has experience with them.

That could be because once the load is off of it, the spring is too short to fit snugly between the top hat and perch of the strut. This would make sense that it would make noise going over bumps that cause the suspension to unload. The only real fix is new springs.

I've found better butt-dyno gains from weight reduction and drivetrain mods. Bolt ons don't make peak power as much as they help the powerband, so you don't feel it as much nor see it on paper. Most CAI's are only good for 1-2hp total, but could see as much as 7-8hp in the midrange, which is where t...

All quality mods, nice list. If you're wanting an all around build, I would go with solid motor mounts rather than inserts, as they pretty much prevent movement altogether.

Sounds about right for a decent running engine with bolt ons. I imagine mine probably does about the same, maybe a hair better with the 3.94 and billet flywheel.

I too want to go to an aluminum coolant reservoir, preferably with a bung for the hose, a sight strip along the side, and a screw on top. Capacity can be similar to stock if not a bit less.
