Ive learned since buying mine doing anything on an SRT4 is just like doing anything on a normal neon except 1,000,000 times more frustrating.

pricing is all pretty close if I wasnt going to bother with revalving I would order from
www.FWDperformance.com
simply because they do a lot for the neon and turbo dodge commnity. If you want to get them revalved to the springs you are going to use I would order through truechoice

Awful they like require work and stuff to install. You cant get mad low I mean you can get way lower on BCs and Megans are super cheap yo ^ That was all sarcasm. The yellow Koni sport is by far the best off the shelf shock for these cars. The install is cake if you can work a pipe wrench and drill. ...

Cliffnotes: Dexcool is a marketing exercise and is no better from a performance stand point than standard green coolant. Plus its cheaper and easier to get a 2am when you're most likely to need it. I have over 100,000mi on various 2.0s and 2.4s with standard green coolant. DexCool and whatever Chrys...

2gn just isnt competitive on a national level. The SRT barely is and the 1gn is ok in FSP. National people take this shit too seriously somtimes, there is pretty much a single way to buld a fast FSP neon.

Dont sandblast anything that goes inside the engine!

If you cant clean the head you shouldnt be inside an engine IMHO buy a gallon of parts cleaner at the auto parts store, a brush, and, a pan and get to it. You'll learn something by pushing your comfort level.

Ive broken 3 bolts in my SRT the stock 10.9, modern's 12.9, and, a second 12.9 I bought from Grainger. I now have a 12.9 I bought at my local Ace hardware that has lasted all auto-x season without issue. I would do timing belt and water pump Modern's kits are great. Use a large socket inside the water pump housing to drive out the tube. That ring looks like someone tried to file it to fit and made it too loose its done sometimes to reduce drag on N/A engines. Look at the edges of the ring gap for file marks. Clean and dry the bores run your bare finger around t...

2-4 look normal

1 looks like coolant/oil was in the combustion chamber.

Put the crank pulley bolt back in (NO PULLEY) and use a big wrench to turn the engine clocwise brining #1 to the top feel the piston top for oil or water if its wet chances are you have a headgasket issue
