Re: 2023 Hornet

Doubtful there will ever be another US made sport compact Mopar. Just rebadged vehicles from other brands in Stellantis' portfolio.

Re: MyNeonSaysHi Mod Log: Stone White

Sucks about the wheel... One disadvantage of having tires that offer zero protection. But that's the cost of the added handling/steering response edge. I was reading on some of the Subaru DI apps, there are actually cooled catch cans to further reduce oil getting into the intake. A little more compl...

My wife is always watching those crime shows, and in a recent one two inmates they were interviewing had that exact same clothing.

I'd be more worried about getting shot for being mistaken for an escaped prisoner...

Re: Still some surviving like its 2003!

I occasionally see a few 2gns around in pretty decent shape. Unfortunately on the salt covered roads. Not sure if they came from other states, but it's too bad they are being taken to the slaughter... I haven't seen a 1gn for a while now. Used to see more 1gn's than 2gn's. Edit: What's with the jail...

Re: Any empty fuses for dash cam hardwire?

There is the possibility, but most of the empty slots only have the hot side, an not the load side connection.

Your option would be to get a fuse box from eBay/JY, and have your tech swap one of the load connectors into a spare slot.

That's what I did when I added Power Seats to the '01.

Re: Any empty fuses for dash cam hardwire?

Add-a-Circuit fuse adapter. No hacking required.

Might need two, depending if your cam needs both switched and constant power

Hopefully both of you get back to normal! Most of my experiences with icy bridges have been in RWD cars. Thankfully just a little lifting of the throttle brought them back in line. FWD usa different animal there. About all you can do is keep the front pulling and steer. Don't want to lift, or the ba...

i need to turn off some collision thing. guy was turning insanely slow in front of me and i just went around, the car applied the brake and beeped at me haha Yeah, there are times when the Subaru doesn't react well to people turning off the road. It perceives them as a stopped vehicle. I just push ...

Looking good!

I can't say I care much for lane centering.

I keep all the steering assist features turned off on the Forester.

The adaptive cruise control on the other hand is pretty sweet.

I like that it uses a variety of colored caps for the different fluids under the hood. At least everything isn't yellow, like most manufactures have gone to. I mean at least make them glow in the dark if they're all going to be yellow. It looks like they totally got rid of a cap on the radiator. Not...

Nothing worse than a deer in the Depot Headlights.... A deer took out the aftermarket headlight on my Impreza. I had to put the original back on. The issue was the originals were black reflectors and the aftermarket were silver. The silver looked better as they matched the car. So not only did it ha...

It just goes to prove if you listen to what people want, and deliver on it, you can make sales in a segment that certain car manufacturers, er assemblers have written off.

Re: 2002 2.0 to 2005 2.4l SRT4 Neon Swap

The SRT harness will not work because it never had the automatic transaxle (ATX) Your 2002 uses a separate control module for the ATX. The PT Cruiser, and every other model since 2003uses the PCM to control the ATX. 1996 to 2002 PCM'S are the SBEC design. 2003 up are NGC. Grafting the PT harness to ...

Just have the Cherokee, Compass, or (Fiat) Renegade for crossover CUV options. Looks like they got rid of the Patriot, which outsold the Compass. I rarely see any of the Compass's, lot of Patriots, so that makes perfect marketing sense. Possibly it's a redesigned platform than the Patriot/Caliber/Co...

Only things to add to the list: Patience A 2002 service manual, one from Chrysler. Probably find one on eBay if you don't have one. Possibly an SRT service manual. If you search online, you can find an '04 FSM to download in PDF format. Sorry, we cannot post direct links due to copyright legal stuff...

Hope it goes smoothly! Should be a sweet ride. Too bad there isn't much from US owned companies that is small and sporty. It's disappointing they have mostly written off that segment of the market. It's like they just wanted to blame lackluster sales, instead of stepping up. I guess Dodge took heed ...
