arp head stud install issues
Hey everyone. So im in the process of doing the rt head swap. Installed the arp head studs pn# 141-4203. 05 neon. 2.0l swapping in a r/t head. Middle 6 studs are fine where the outer 4 seem to sit about a 1/4" deeper. When I Torqued everything down the threads did not sit flush to the top of the nut...

This is the exact reason why I don't do custom work on the forums. Although the work looks like it was done very quickly and if he had taken his time x could have been a quality piece. Fiberglass and any custom work always takes time which most of us nowadays just don't have... im glad I know how to...

The "screamer tube" or dump tube can be left open if you dont mind it being a little loud when it goes off or you can weld back into the exhaust.. That stinks.. Subs in a sealed box will hit deeper but will also require MORE power Subs in a ported box will hit louder and wont need as much power to do so Here's a quick pic of my setup. If you are going to invert subs. . Reversing the polarity is still needed... This way the subs still shoot upwards not down into the box... is an old school trick to make the most of your setup.
