Hehehehe. Come to my neck of the woods some time. Those little tiny mosquitos you have up north are NOTHING. It took industrial-type repellents to keep the ones here away from someone when I was younger. They ignore Off, Deep Woods Off and just about any spray that you can find in stores. Fortunatel...

The Cali really does have a lot of room when you fold the seats down. The wife's SXT comes in handy a lot. Yes it does... I need to upload the picture I took of all the toner I took to get recycled in mine. I forget how many I fit in it, but I know I fit enough that it took them 3 or 4 trips on the...

If you think that's high up you should have seen my Caliber before I put the Pro-kit on it. Could almost fit a fist in the wheel wells. I see your point with wanting comfort, measy. Fortunately, my car got more comfortable after I lowered it since I wasn't bouncing around on every little bump and wa...

Alignment hopefully today. Dealer only charged me $9 for the PCV valve, but that didn't take care of the noise. :( Gotta track that down. The throttle's more responsive now that I've swapped the valve, but I still hear the noise. It's kind of like a whistling noise and most pronounced from about 110...

PCV Valve's making a hell of a racket, 90,000 miles before checking the valve my ass. Makes me wonder who writes this stuff in the owner's manual and service manual. Anyway, getting the part today. Can only find it at the stealership so it's about $13+ tax instead of like $5 that you can usually buy...

That and I'd like to put either a body kit or ground effects kit on it. I kind of like the look of the GT500 front and rear bumpers, but I don't like the skirts. I like the skirts and rear lip on the Razzi kit, but not the front, looks out of place. The Mopar lip doesn't look bad with the Mopar skir...

Next is going to be the radio when I have the cash and then saving up to get the paint fixed. They're not very big, but they're bugging the crap out of me. Hopefully that won't be too expensive to get fixed. After that's fixed, then it'll be back to the fun stuff. :D I'm debating whether or not I wa...

When you add those pesky little bottles of Mopar Friction Modifier, THAT'S when you really start to cause problems. The friction modifier was a really bad guess by someone/some group at Chrysler thinking it would help the Quaife diff to stop "shuddering". Bad guess and not approved or advised by en...

looks like a sweet meet.. and just put mobil 1 10w40 high milage motor oil in the tranny and thats the best? From what Ed said, yes. The ATF that Chrysler puts in has friction modifiers, which are organic and can rot. When it rots, it starts to tear apart the few non-metal parts in the transmission...

It was a good time. If you wanted to see a world engine, I'd've popped the hood on mine. The plain, white Caliber SXT next to the black one up there is mine. :) Nathan's car is sweet in person. He was the only turbo'd 2.0L there that I saw, so many people were interested in looking at it, the staff ...

Pulling the interior panels wasn't so bad, putting the panels back in, though, was a bitch. The ride's a little rougher, but still not horrible. And whoever wrote the service manual was an idiot. My dad and I had to use 2x4's to push the suspension down in order to get the shock assembly out and bac...
