I have an 2003 SE
I found a really good deal on some 16x7 5x114.3 rims. And I was wondering if I could just use some 1in 5x100 to 5x114.3 wheel adapters? Or if it would cause some problems. I was also gonna run 215/50/r16. On stock ride height.
I’ve searched on forum but have not found an exact answer. So sorry if a repost or in wrong section..

Re: Wheel and rim Help please!!
Wheel adapters will space the wheels out too far.
Other than doing some custom work, using larger bolt pattern hubs, you are stuck with 5x100 wheels.
There is an old thread somewhere on neons.org about using the front hubs from an Intrepid (?) and custom pieces for the rear, to use 5x114.3 wheels on a neon.
But you would need access to a machine shop to make the rear parts.
The advantage of 114.3 is a better selectoin of wheels.
