So you have a wider angle of view - ie: see more behind you on that side. Just remember, objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

Well, it does help (at least in theory) for the blind spots. Now why didn't they do this for the driver's side? I dunno. I bought one of those 2 inch, one dollar mirrors that provide that wide angle and stuck it on that mirror.

I guarantee that without the convex mirror on your passenger side, you would not be able to completely eliminate your blind spots on the side.

I have my mirrors set so that as a car disappears from my rear view to either side, it is already in my side view, and as it is moving out of those, it is in my perifiral (sp?) vision.

And always remember...

Thank you.

You can minimize the blind spots but not eliminate them.

And yes, we're all supposed to momentarily turn our heads.

x3. I cant see anything out of mine, they wont adjust right, so even in my caliber, I dont even look at the side mirrors. I just turn my head.

but...Blind spots in a caliber > blind spots in a neon
